Hi, first of all thnx for all the help / inspiration i get from your videos. I have had a ready hard time creating moss over rocks. I saw them in your videos but I don't understand how you achieved it. Can you do a separate video for it ????? Thnx in advance.

I used a shader that adds the texture to any faces that are pointing up on the Z-axis, this is the shader I was using to beta test for my friend, it has that functionality and a bunch of others in it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmGuZ3ubbcuDmM0

hey man, can u make a tutorial series on how to create an AI for exemple a boss fight or something like this. It would be great cuz u explain very well.

unfortunately this is waaaaay outside my area of knowledge, I am mainly a game artist, I have no clue when it comes to coding or scripting etc.

Hello, great work! i have a question: how you create a ground? U use some extra soft like "world machine" or u just tweak plane by moving vertexes with soft selection in 3ds max. theme about ground creation and your pipeline will be a good tutorial on your channel.
@neelparekh77236 жыл бұрын
Amazing work! although looks like foliage(grass,leaves on ground) is missing shadows..Please correct me if i am wrong
@PolygonAcademy6 жыл бұрын
Neel Parekh yea, i had to disable shadows on the ground because they are not static meshes and there is about 8k plants and 16k grassplanes lol unreal gave me a warning it was super expensive to have them casting shadows

I have a big doubt about modular buildings, How did you do when You have to create fences or something like this for all of an envirnoment?
@PolygonAcademy6 жыл бұрын
Irensay you just have the fences be a seperate modular kit of pillars and fence pieces and place them where you want. 99.9% of games use modular kits for as much as possible, especially buildings.
