Perhaps, it's a portrait of the artist's sister, madame Marie Elisabeth Larrey, née Laville-Leroult. Note some external resemblance between a model and artist. Elisabeth had also been a painter, she had much time for posing as her husband then was in Egypt and she voluntarily gave up a high life.
