Hey, mate. What tool do you use in Blender ? I'm currently working on a custom Crown Vic Police Interceptor with a custom Mushroom Kingdom Police Department ( MKPD ) livery in Blender and if I improve ( hopefully ), I'm gonna make a custom Lenco BearCat S.T.A.R.S ( SWAT MKPD version ). Addition with the gears they bring such as ARs, armour, etc. Can you give out any suggestions on what should I do, how do I model the car, etc. Any would be appreciated, Thanks. +1 Sub.

I'm having problems with the front end when I'm extruding the edges down to match the grill I have to do the top separate the side then the bottom then it comes out looking like crap. I even press E to extrude shift + whatever axis I'm not extruding that works when I'm doing squares but it did not work on the front end of this car I even set the pivot point to individual orgins what am I missing

Keep practicing. You will figure it out. Its difficult to say without looking at what you were doing from the start.

not sure if this will be helpful at this point but if you're talking about 1:00:21 I had trouble with this too. I extruded, cancelled the extrusion, scaled down on individual origins and then scaled down some more. it seemed to work.

In part-1 you used cube for positioning. Here you have used a Plane. Why is it like that?

That was just used to align blueprint, there is no use of that cube afterwards. In this I started modeling car using a plane mesh.

I'm only at 51:55 into part 2 I see you already uploaded part 5 There's a lot of interesting detailed in this project. Sometimes I get so far and somethings just don't look right or won't work so I have to delete somethings and start all over again and I say oh thats what I missed Now when I follow this project everytime you make a move I'll stop it right away and make that same move and I keep checking to see if all my geometry looks the same as yours and about every half hour I take a break. I've been on part 2 for about a month now. But starting to move a little faster. This one is definitely not for beginners

Wow, i remember those day when I was new to 3d modeling and used to follow tutorial from other channels and do the same stuff you doing now like follow tuts along and mistakes everytime, take break etc etc. I really remember those days. I have blender 2.90 just became available I'm still having trouble with vertices When I use the subdivision modifier, when I change it from squares to round they get all messed up. Or when I do it the opposite they get all messed up then I got to waste more time to reset the vertices in place. It becomes to much like work. I have my car saved in 2.83 so I did not loose that, I have all my previous software saved in a separate folder on my desktop so they don't get lost. I learned that when I downloaded 2.81 I lost 2.80

I selected that whole edge and extruded it and scaled it. Just select that edge and then press E along with S to scale it.

I selected that egde and shift+d duplicated it and dragged it on z axis after that I pressed P and separated that edge which was duplicated. That's not circle, once i did that I extruded that egde in z axis. It appears circle because I used subdivision modifier on top of that, just hide subsurf modifier. That's it. Hope it helps :)

u have to use subdivision surface modifier. it is in the modifiers tab and it subdivides all the shapes in the object and makes it look smoother. u should probably check out some basic blender tutorials before learning this, i think.
