I think the curling is because you don't put glue on it while on the frame. You could glue them while still up, put the backing fabric on the entire frame, let them dry completely, and then cut them off/out of the frame.

Yeah that’s def one of the reasons. I have thought about this but I don’t think the backing will stay on the rugs if they’re vertical. I imagine them falling off lol atleast for the bigger ones.

I like that gradient keyboard rug, one of the reasons why it curls is because the fabric is shrinking back to its original form its best to glue it while its still on the frame

I use roberts 6700 to glue the rugs and then I cut it off the frame and add liquid latex to apply the backing fabric

These are gorgeous. 😍 I think the keyboard rugs need a solid backing like wood cut to size, gluing or Velcro to it to stop curling & give it more weight. You have to think you don’t want whoever buys them to have them curling again when they receive them or use them. It will help them to not move in use to especially with something non slip on the bottom. Just my thoughts. Hugs 🤗 ❤

Also adding some weight inside like glass beads could help to & make it feel more plush, wood may not be needed then. ❤

Thank you so much! I think wood is probably too much for the keyboard rugs, idk if I’d want wood on my keyboard haha once they’re glued, they don’t usually curl again! They’re meant to be moved from the keyboard to the wrist rest area or wherever the person wants to use it. I appreciate the ideas though! ❤️

When you stich your rugs on the frame your lines are too close together making it bulky and needing room to expand it will curls over.
