I don't know if it is something you have tried, but give 10% sulfur soap a go for your acne. There are all sorts of brands. The one I use is Dermaharmony. It has been the only thing to actually work for me. I only use it once a day (PM) and it can be drying for some people. I found that Mill Creek's Aloe Cream is good for moisturizing after without causing pimples. Both are cheap and can be found on Amazon.

May I ask why you sometimes mix the colour in before adding the lye water solution? 😊 Or does anyone know?

Great question! If I know all of the soap batter is going to start out the same color and then adjustments get made to the accents, I will color the oils beforehand to save time and little cups. If I hadn't done that for this soap, I would have tried to get the same amount of purple saturation with 3 little cups by measuring them individually.

I would rather have Lavender colored skin that glowed at night. Purple is my all time favorite color, especially darker shades of lavendar. I have a lavender snowflake background on my phone, and a lavender galaxy background on my ipads. I love purple so freakin much, I wish my mom would let me color my hair purple.
