Beterbiev was loosing blood for five rounds with a deep forehead cut. He explained in the Presser afterwards that fighting a Southpaw with blood in you right eye is hard. I like Beterbiev but I am an underdog guy so maybe I am being a bit harsh on him. To me I obsessiviley wonder and think of ways how to beat the monster that doesn't lose.

@@Micscience it is interesting to contemplate the ways in which a monster like Tyson, Roy Jones, Khabib, Jon Jones, Beterbiev, etc can be taken down. And I must admit that he will hit you on whatever part of your head is within reach (many of his knockdowns were hits to the temple or side of the head). That’s one of the things that I like about him though. He is very skilled, but fights very ugly when necessary. If you think you’re gonna clench him, you better hold onto both of his arms tight. Because he is definitely swinging until the referee says break. But he’s not a dirty fighter. He is a ruthless one. I just don’t know how Bivol, who couldn’t knock down Canelo even though he hit him 1000 times, is gonna keep this monster off of him. I can’t wait to see this fight though!

When Andre Ward saw this he knew the writing was on the wall and decided to retire at 32/33. He didn't want to face Beterbiev who was going to be his mandatory. No matter what he says to the public he knows deep down that he ducked Beterbiev. His hugging, grappling, and wrestling moves in the clinch would not have worked on Beterbiev who has this tremendous short range punch power. Prieto is a very durable fighter and stood no chance against Artur's Mountain strength from Chechnya.

Out of that group, I can see Bivol possibly pulling off an upset. He's defensive minded, which one would have to be when boxing Artur. He (Dmitry) has solid footwork, ring iq, solid high guard, and enough pop in his shots to keep Artur from (consistently) rushing in. Bivol also has something you need when fighting a guy like Beterbiev, endurance. I think it would obviously be a tough task, but I wouldn't be surprised if Bivol did pull it off, if they ever get in the ring.

I think poor Beterbiev is now 37 years old. This Beterbiev even floored current HW Champion, Oleksandr Usyk, at the Olympics. The boxing system is unfair.
