Cool that you checked this out so early and that you had a go with different input material for the audio in! Great patch demos as well. Kudos!

Thanks for the Fantastic review. Quick question. Is the body case aluminium or plastic made? TIA. Stefano

Updated answer: I asked Arturia and they said 'Top casing is plastic, bottom casing is metal"

Great demo with the drum loop and the guitar ! Sounds interesting and very usable... What is the routing of the guitar, how is it amplified ? At the beginning when you play it sounds like a flanger, is it the onboard flanger of the MiniFreak ?

Thank you for the comment :) I loved how it sounded with drums and guitar. I didn't use any extra processing, all you hear is straight out of the minifreak to my Interface (Antelope Orion 32+)

Very cool guitar, which brand is it ? By the way, can you play guitar over a sequence ?
@luipilusook Жыл бұрын
Thanks Daniel! The guitar is called Valiant by SZ guitars. If you play over the sequence, the guitar will be chopped the same way as the programmed sequence

Is it made of metal or plastic? No one is saying on the videos. One KZbinr said it's metal but no one else and it looks like plastic to me.

looks ridiculously plastic my guy

@@luipilusook that confirms what it looks like to me. Bottom casing probably means a metal plate underside and plastic everything else.

seems to be a hum most of the time the guitar is playing. is there a particular reason why that's happening? just wondering because i would like to run a guitar through it myself. thanks.

Hi :) Yes, its a noisy synth. It's not easy to configure the guitar, so it requires for you to tweak the sound till you get something good (worth it). The sound kind of got cleaner during the test with the guitar in the video. I think its possible to use noise reductors in a mix to clean that up. Guitar Amps are also a bit noisy. The other situation I had was that it reacted totally different depending the guitar I was using, next time I'll use it Im going to try to get the guitar to line level before I feed it to the synth. Hope that helped :)
