I have both sparkLE and minlabs. Both are useless pieces of crap. Minilabs crashes every tenths or so times you chnage between voices. Its impossible to use inside a DAW as it crashes if you even look at it like you want to changes a setting. I upgrade SparkLE from 1.6 to 1.7.1, boy what a mistake. The midi controller software crashes just by opening the program. The actual SparkLE program has an "unsupported sampling rate" error and no way I can see to change the sampling rate. When I tried to rollback to 1.6 the sound is distored and crap. I have contacted Arturia 3 times in the last two weeks and the most sensical reply I get is from an automated email system. In conclusion, hardware = junk, software = useless, support = non- existant. Don't waste your money or your time.

Hello. Are you talking about SparkLE only or both Spark and SparkLE? I plan to get a Spark soon, and it's interesting what you said, maybe I need to rethink.

matheus gusmao I can only speak for SparkLE using Windows 7 with dual core processors and 8 gigs of RAM. That said I believe both SparkLE and Spark are purely hardware controllers and the software for both is the same so I imagine they both have issues. I managed to get SparkLE (.vst) to with a very high powered Mac and Ableton live 9. It works fine but was a hell of an investment. I also have the Arturia Microbrute which is pretty good so Arturia are not all bad. That said don't expect customer service cause you won't get any. Cheers

Alright, thanks for replying me. I'll try to do some research about the hardware and software, 'cause I don't want to have trouble with it. Do you like the sparkle as a drum machine, do you think it's worth it for recording or even playing live?
