I was there! It was a clinic by Angel. Not surprising, Gatti fought back hard after getting decked by Angel. That cut was gross! I drove down from NW, Indiana with a boxer friend of mine..What a fun weekend!! We sat with Angel's group for a bit the day before the fight and Gatti's camp was there too and there was some jawing back n forth!! After fight party was awesome as well!!

I've realized that Gatti was a lot like the Tony Ferguson of boxing. They both had subpar defense but were able to get by through toughness, a good chin and overwhelming offense, which made them both incredibly exciting to watch.
@tryingtoboxduegatti89403 жыл бұрын
True. I do believe people aren't giving Toney a chance anymore. The man lost 3 in a row. Gatti lost 3 and came back better then ever. I believe Toney too can come back better than ever
@gaberiel10473 жыл бұрын
@@tryingtoboxduegatti8940 I'd beg to differ. Tony just hasn't looked the same during that Gaethje beating and on top of that I don't see him refining his technique to be able to beat anyone that way because he was never a cerebral fighter.
@tryingtoboxduegatti89403 жыл бұрын
@@gaberiel1047 We will have to see. Look at Nate Diaz, he isn't a technical fighter compared to Toney, however he is tough as hell and he is still going strong despite losing 13 fights, it's the same with Cowboy. I believe Toney is better then Nate and Cowboy. I can see him coming back. I think Tony's Vs Nate will be a great fight and a good match up for both guys in their careers. What do you think about that match up.

I was just watching Gatti vs Baldimir and Gatti was not comfortable because he wasn't prepared for that match up and he didn't have this team of trainer's he had Buddy McGirt and they mentioned 12 weeks preparation so I'm wondering who's actually training him cause 12 weeks was for Baldimir to make weight and 6 weeks is long and sufficient but dude had to loose 40 pounds and Gatti has always been exploited by bad preparation they tried to get him to box more and he has boxing skills he just has vultures around him they calling him a brawler but if you know your fighter you study the opponent and get your fighter to do what he does and train to not do what's going to not work so he did better brawling Baldomir but showcased skills later rounds it's like he exposed the factions Buddy was the main attraction in the corner nay it was Emmanuel Lewis who for some reason is celebrated as a trainer Buddy was a fighter and should have known what to do but it's like the show is about the star and it's not in the ring. These judges should have a requirement to make these judgements and have the ability to judge everyone should this be the right match up is this a fair deal to both sides who's got legal counsel not representation because that's not seen if they're all vultures ganging up on 1 man the fall guy right? Is it the judge's who judge a fight also judge the factors evolved like what do they know about boxing and if they know something isn't good about it shouldn't they have the judgement to write legislation for the sport because it's not a sport for boxers it's a sport to the factions making money exploiting a bad deal and a few good ones too but maybe they don't know anything and are all dictated to just sit in and not say anything turn in a scorecard we don't know who's filling them out or what they know and how they score so they're not really judge's but posing as judges and whose got representation if their taxed by everyone involved someone know what I'm talking about? Clean up the sport I've heard are we all dirty even the fan who doesn't have the knowledge to understand what they pay for or is it a reflection for us to qualify as American citizens and they mirror the government are we witnesses to crucifixions of innocent men or are we what drives the corruption and are exploited by the lack of knowledge can it be we do not know what we do? Everyone including the circus who should be regulated by free thoughtful gifts for their sins. We don't have the authority to appoint counsel .
