Most welterweights are only 5'5 and Carmen Basilio is only 5'5 but he fought in the middleweight. Plus Floyd weigh 150 in the de la Hoya fight during the weight in but actually less than 148 during the fight. His only 150 in the Cotto fight. Pacquiao also weigh 152 in the Mayweather fight but Floyd is only 149.

That’s not even true. For many decades reporter and commentators were honest with what you’re seeing. Merchant was always high on Floyd from genaro Hernandez to manfredy to corrales on and on and on. Hbo especially we’re honest. They wouldn’t pretend every fight is the greatest fight you could dream of. Honesty is a bitch. Floyd is one of the best to ever do it. Nah the commentators are right on the money. This was a packed house with lots of famous people in attendance and excitement before the fight, click on any point of the video and there’s dead silence. At the end of the fight, there were only boos. The commentators are just pointing out facts. Boxing is entertainment first and foremost, period. It’s not about sucking up to another grown man, and hoping they make the most money and run away enough to not get touched. It’s supposed to be entertaining for the people paying the pay per view.
