I go out to protests in Georgia, every day, and its a terrible state. Its soo sad, that after soo much terror my country has undergone, Russia still insists on being a cancer cell, attached to our nation. Its sad, its pathetic, and I am soo proud of my fellow Georgians, our foreign partners, and of course, creators like you, who shine light on this. This war in Ukraine, is being fought on many fronts, and in Georgia, we fight for everyone. For Freedom. Unity. Integrity. And most importantly- Identity. Thank you Arthur for shining light on this. I understand what you are saying, but when I see a video of a Ukrainian guy being dragged out on the street and forced to join the military, it makes me wonder if they have enough men left who are willing to fight. If they lose the desire to fight, no amount of weapons will matter. They won’t be able to hold the lines if these recruits desert their positions.

@ some people are just selfish and don’t care enough about the big picture because they are focused on their micro world. It’s a symptom of western society. I understand not wanting to join a war like Vietnam or Afghanistan, but it’s completely different than Russia invading Ukraine. It’s different when your cousins who live in Eastern Ukraine have their land and lives stolen because “wrong place wrong time”. Or your mother in Kherson is hunted down by a FPV drone on her way to grocery shop. Also Ukraine doesn’t have a man power problem. They haven’t recruited anyone 18-25, their problem is they don’t have the equipment and the training pipeline. This is something we (the west) could try to help with more but instead we send them tanks and other stupid offensive equipment that they don’t need right now because they are fighting a defensive war. And we let these “big ticket items” like tanks eat up $ of our donations. Instead of NATO coming together making a plan to fulfill the things that Ukraine NEEDs most. Like how many trucks, drones or artillery shells could we make or deliver for the price of one tank? Or like Arthur said about people wanting the UK to hand over some of their old shitty ships they are about to decommission, but wtf does Ukraine need with that? Sorry for the rant, this shit just bugs me that donations have turned into the west getting rid of shit they don’t want, instead of using the money set aside to create initiatives to make or source what Ukraine needs.

For context, the MPs had to break through cordons of cops and soldiers in order to get into the Parliament building in order to vote to shut this down. There's a scene that you missed. One of the Members of Parliament, a diminutive woman, grabbed a soldier's barrel and shoved it out of the way, shouting, "Where's your honor?" THAT woman is a Lioness. Koreans go hard when they protest, and they're SERIOUS about their Democracy. They elected a libertarian on a thin margin, and as libertarians do, he quickly showed his kleptocratic and authoritarian intent. Take note, America.

It's also incredible that Democracy came into existence in America. IF you're interested in learning more about the unique - and fragile, yet also robust in many ways - nature of true democracy, the book written by a Frenchman named Alexis de Tocqueville back in the 1800's is an eye and mind opener. It's entitled - not surprisingly - DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA.
@RichardTaylor16303 күн бұрын
@@jaybitsack6598 I agree. DeTocqueville was extremely insightful. He credited the religious faith of the American people for their success in making democracy work.
@jaybitsack65983 күн бұрын
@@RichardTaylor1630 Digging deeper into de Tocqueville's DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA, he indicates that a multitude of factors must be in play in order for democracy to function and remain viable. One of the most important and impactful is the ability to counteract corruption. In this regard, CIVIL ORGANIZATIONS and PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS and TOWN MEETINGS (or the equivalent in the news domain), particularly at the LOCAL LEVEL, play a crucial role in maintaining the transparency necessary to identify, call out, and rectify corruption wherever it happens to exist. And because human beings possess this innate tendency to think and behave in a self-serving manner, corruption will always be present - to some degree - wherever human-based self-governance endeavors/mechanisms happen to exist. That means corruption has the potential to exist even in religious institutions on any level. That said, yes, the promotion of a solid foundation in the best principles and practices (including the notion of a sustainable and open community) promoted by any number of faiths around the world can contribute to preserving and protecting democracy. Hopefully, those communities are paying attention to what's happening in this country and are ready, willing and able to play a contributing role in preserving the highest order principles and practices of a TRUE DEMOCRACY; one that's capable of benefiting ALL of its citizens.

America and Russia had "respected border lines" that Wagner crossed and started attacking. That prompted a call to Russian officials asking who they were. Russia denied it and said they don't know. So Americans wiped about a 300 to 400 convoy of Wagner soldiers until Russian officials told Americans to stop the attack but it was too late. 5:13 correction. the air force hates it because of how imprecise, slow and "ham fisted" it is due to it's "low, slow and loud" presence. ground forces of the army on the other tend to love it because of how demanding a presence it has on top of being able to deliver devastating ordnance when applied appropriately the army is most of the reason why the a 10 is still in active service, since the air force wanted it gone basically since it entered service
@cairnethunderhoof62254 күн бұрын
Wrong. It was literally made solely for the cold war to break bunkers and heavy targets. Newer planes are more versatile and could kill it while providing a wider range of support at a safer distance . It's not that it's slow or imprecise, it's that it's huge and insanely costly to produce despite being less advanced than most other planes. Strafing runs are an outdated ineffective way to use planes the same way warships used to pull alongside each other and exchange volleys, technology is simply beyond that style of fighting.

For Europe, WW2 began in 1939, when Germany invaded Poland. The fighting started in Africa in 1937, with the Italian assault on Abysinnia. In Asia, it began with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria, in 1931. The US officially entered the war in 1941, but had been supporting Britain, and fighting German submarines, prior to that. Over that long period of years, all of these "separate" conflicts became one world war. Much of the horrendous bloodshed and destruction might have been prevented by robust opposition to the aggressors at the outset, but the West failed to stand up to them, until it was too late to avert global catastrophe. What I like about your WORLD news.. especially from parts you don't know too much about is that it makes it unbiased.. Like seeing more of it in the future

Hey Artur, Really like your new more generalized news coverage format... I totally agree with you that all of the events you're focusing on are interconnected. Russian and all other forms of authoritarianism are problematic for sustaining a free and democratic world for people to live in. Ergo, defeating fascist-like authoritarian regimes - wherever they might exist in the world - is all relevant. Keep up the good work.

Happy THURSDAY to You, Artur! I wasnt here yesterday for this video, but I am here now! PS. EXCELLENT NEWS! The petty - self-proclaimed "empire" of the "Third Rome" is SHRINKING NOT BY THE DAY, but BY THE HOUR!

If we are not in WW3 already, I'd like to know how someone would define it differently....
@cairnethunderhoof62254 күн бұрын
Mobilized troops on all fronts would be WW3. This is more like.. a lot of wars. WW2 and WW1 were countries using every single thing they had at their disposal fighting for their lives, this is a few people wanting more land.
@UmbraWeiss4 күн бұрын
This is at most a mini WW3 in undeveloped countrys... Yes RUssia is one of them. Don't you see how every other developed economy just does things in the backround without getting directly involved, they don;t want shit with these wars, they just do as much as possible to profit, and watch the rest... can't call that a WW:))

It's not even global. There always been wars and sponsors of conflict. Conflicts confined to a region.

When Russia invades NATO and begins direct offensive action against the US we are in WW3. Russia only attacks weak nations without strong alliances with the US and Europe. Also China is not waging war against anyone but they are supporting Russia. This is not a world war.

ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO ARTUR! I love the full spectrum of knowledge and information that you are presenting. I also think 🤔 that this is all connected, just like prior conditions before WWII broke out. We all must come together and fight against those that TAKE your freedoms and liberties for personal gain\power. It was a miracle when we faced the same kind of enemy during our grandfather's day, and were victorious in the end. Just my thoughts 🤔 on the matter. Thanks for the video 📸.

Amazing music while you are saying the names at the end. I previously lost interest in listening to you say the names but I will watch every video to the end forever, as long as you continue to play absolute bangers while saying the names, I especially love the tone set by the music in today's video.

@Artur Rehi GOOD JOB! You earned a re-sub after deleting awhile ago. Ngl, I unsubed because of stupid personal preferences to other channels and being annoyed by claims of demonetization. BUT THIS CHANNEL IS AWESOME and it at least fills the gap when channels like Jake/Denys wants to post every 2 days. I was expecting more of the same from other channels but you found some special news in this episode!
