Continuing to look back at Costa Mesa's ARTventure 2023 with our profile of Marianna Baker, winner of the Distinguished Award for Fiber Art. Marianna is a former multimedia designer who found happiness through reinvention as an artist. Her works examine different forms this shield takes, and the thinking that lies behind it. Her winning entry, "Feelings That Bind Me" took shape during a difficult time, and represents a range of personal emotions in three dimensional form. Marianna shares her creative process and how she continually strives to make a statement with her art.
