That was a big slice of new and exciting, mixed up with the familiar 4th hometown experience. The people there are so welcoming. Even when you get on the wrong boat 😆

I have seen a lot of injures while running in the mountains and I always go alone. If I run and you see me, run faster. Because if I run, there is something realy bad chasing me.

I've seen a bunch of travelers reaching Alaska. None of them went to the aquarium 🤔 It seems a great place to spend some hours!!!

@@ArtWeThereYetGreat video. You capture the joy of an active small community. I did spend my first Fourth of July in Alaska in Seward but I was hiking in Exit Glacier then driving back to Denali for work that evening. I didn't know the festivities going on. I've since avoided it during that holiday because of the traffic and crowdedness. But, maybe next year I'll check out the fun. Looks like your nephew enjoyed himself.

Was that this year? If so, you drove right past the bus parked on the river wash up Exit Glacier Rd!

I'm trying to watch these in order. Found one of your videos and absolutely loved the format (i'm a video/illustration/creative person myself). EDIT: I'm deleting one of my suggestions for improvement as I see you've already thought of it in future videos, so I only have one suggestion: it would be really nice if the DATE the footage was taken was displayed somewhere on the screen. When I see some of your clips I think "wow... I'd like to see that as well", but much of it depends on WHEN I visit, so it would be very nice if you had dates on some of your clips. Everything you've made thus far is exceptionally professional, so we're just going through your videos enjoying the art of the composition and edit. We're going to try to get to Alaska in 2027 (we were married on a glacier there in 2007) and you've inspired our travel plans for sure. We'll be arriving in a 40' diesel pusher Class A motorhome... with our four children. We just spent the morning rearranging our timeline to make sure to fit Seward in for 4th of July. We don't like to 'slingshot' so I don't think we'll be making the Midnight baseball game (and festival) in Fairbanks... but that will leave something for another visit. Now we just need to find some friends who need their cabin babysat for the winter. :) Thanks for all your efforts on these videos -- they are inspiring and AMAZING (and beautiful).

David, This is EXCELLENT feedback. Thank you for taking the time to send this, and in such a constructive and helpful way. We will absolutely keep that in mind as we're producing future episodes. And that is so awesome the season is helping you guys in planning your next Alaska adventure. Hurray! DEFINITELY worth it to shift things around in order to be in Seward for the 4th. They really turn it up! One thing we didn't show is that they do a fish toss out in Miller's Landing as well. Your kids might really enjoy that one as well, as it takes place right on the beach next to the water. It's a beautiful spot out there.
@fromjaxflorida9 ай бұрын
Are they going to eat the fish after it's being tossed around?
@ArtWeThereYet8 ай бұрын
We don't know what happens with the fish after the event. It was about 3 boxes worth.
