Wonderful tutorial. I loved it. The chain brush was kinda tricky. When I set the space amount in stroke path to 50 % the links get separated, so… I set it to 36 % and then they get linked all together. And I did it! Thanks for the tutorial.

I love the video! The grass part was helpful, but I followed ur steps and my grass was being drawn sideways lol. I turned on orient to screen and that seemed to fix it :) Thank you for this video

Hello Flo. Creating the grass brush, if I turn off the Orient to screen, my grass strokes are perpendicular to the screen on which I'm drawing., just the opposite of what you teach. What's wrong with my procreate settings? Very new to procreate here. Any help really appreciated. TIA

Thank you for the tutorials, I find them very informative! Couple questions, Is there a reason you use 2 layers to draw the black and white instead of just using one and color flood the white, then draw the black? Or inverting the colors once uploaded into the brush instead of using white on black? Also, my grass turned out sideways on the drawing. I rotated it like you showed with the ribbons so it works on the canvas, but it shows sideways on the brush menu now. Do you know what might be causing this/what I did wrong?

Thanks! Working on a separate layer enables me to easily move the design around, erase parts, transform it, etc And working black on white gives a better sense of what the brush will look like.

Your videos are very helpful, thank you! Does Procreate allow for more complex color brushes? In Illustrator, for example, you could illustrate a series of leaves and then drag those into Brushes and use as a vector to create a vine effect. Great video Flo!! I understand the settings a lot more ..but mine came out like paper is at the back of it...its more like they don't have a transparent background....when I turn down the opacity on the apple pencil everything gets brighter lol... can you guide me on where and what I,m doing wrong
