I am not a too-long of a time loomer, but I have never seen the “slip knot” trick when adding another yarn. Finally, my add-on knot is right where it should be. Another clever idea from you 👍🏻. Thanks.

Any tutorials for baby mittens on a 24 peg loom.? I saw a post that was written that said use 7 of the 24 pegs but link was broken for the rest. I don't have anything smaller than 24 pegs 😰

Would a double strand I-cord work instead of the braided cord/string? The braiding is too complicated for me and always has been.

When casting off, would the drawstring cast off be better?
@ArtyCraftyCA7 жыл бұрын
Depends on preference. Drawstring cast off is fine as well for this project 😊 thanks for watching!

Charlaine Harrison She didn’t use a special stitch she just wrap the loom like normal just wrap it and do what she’s doing it’s extremely easy

how many rows would I need to do to make these for a one year old? Would I need a larger loom size? Please tell me someone I am making these as a gift for my new niece who should be but isn't here yet?
@ArtyCraftyCA5 жыл бұрын
This size is for a newborn to 3 months. I am not sure what size of loom to use for a one-year old, sorry.

How many rows would you do for an 8 month old?
@ArtyCraftyCA7 жыл бұрын
+Diamond Earls it really depends on the size of the baby. Perhaps before casting off, check the length of your project against the baby's hand? If it's a gift, just follow this pattern and add a couple rows more.

An 8 month old, I'd make on the next biggest loom perhaps. But I'm barely a beginner, so you may need better advice than me on that one 😊

I don't think most 8 month old babies want there hands covered and they should not have long fingernails to scratch with but newborns do and they might be able to pull off at that age. Make a drawstring that you can tie
