I saw this video randomly today and it's so cool and inspiring! I'm trying to make a manga too even if i'm not Japanese. Because of you I'm even more excited. Thank you for your hard work! 💖

@@heygabimara since when did you have to be Japanese to be a Mangaka? There’s tones of foreign mangakas, most of them are just Japanese, since that’s where it originated

@ChimozeChum oh lol sorry for my poor phrasing. I mostly meant that to have a career as a mangaka in Japan you still need to speak fluent Japanese. I can't and am currently unable to afford Japanese lessons, even apps, so it felt like it would have been easier to have a full time manga career if I was born Japanese. It would have been a wall of text if I added that to the comment 😂 Additionally, from my observation and opinion, only Japan has a working infrastructure that actually helps mangakas even afford and own a house. The comics industry in my country barely exists and the publishing industry here isn't really powerful enough due to the low buying power of readers. I am heavily dependent on family members to survive while i try to make my comics career work out atm
She made my beloved Devil’s Line❤ I do really really love your work❤

this video came up in my recommended, and i'm so glad i watched it! it is totally fascinating to watch how much work goes into making manga - thank you for all your hard work! relating work to spiritual or emotional feelings is strange to me but it seems that you receive a lot of feelings of contentment from what you do, and even though things can get stressful at times, your attitude didn't become too negative or harsh. i think a lot of people let work bring them massive amounts of stress, but it was nice seeing you, even on days when you're exhausted and not feeling well, be positive about things. thank you for this calming reminder. (also ash is a very sweet kitty - my cat also doesn't like to get her claws trimmed so i wrap her in a towel like a baby when we do the trim!)
So inspiring and relaxing, the job af a mangaka is really hard and painful sometimes! Your art is amazing and i really love your studio! Your cat is so kawaii :33
wow me encanta mucho ver el proceso, se puede notar que te esfuerzas mucho. ten un buen día

Drawing manga everyday must be very mentally exhausting. It's such a complicated and slow process. It must require a lot of patience and willpower.

Beautiful video of the drawing process. Could you tell me what the name of the book you use to see how you draw clothes is?
@hanadaryo3 ай бұрын
I have bought the book but hardly use it... There is a manga called “Akebi-chan no Sailor Fuku” which is a good manga to understand the structure of wrinkles in clothes. I don't know if there is a translated version available, but you can look it up!
