Aruba Fishing Charter March 2018

During our vacation to Aruba in March of 2018, Austin and Lauren arranged a deep sea fishing charter. We got on the boat before sunrise and headed out to deep water north of the island. After 5 hours we landed 3 nice wahoo and one barracuda. I won the big fish contest with a 41 lb Wahoo. It was a big fish but I did catch a 140 lb Sailfish in Mexico about 28 years ago.
We had a great day on the water and caught some nice fish. We had more fish than we could eat so we split the catch with the charter captain and mate!

Just a vacation. We spent two week in a condo just a block off the beach! Fishing was rough due to the high trade winds in Aruba.
