Thanks as always for your fantastic videos! Did I get it right, that I do not have to convert a CAP first to IAP and then to AOS10 (as you stated in the intro)? The process shown converts the CAPs directly to AOS10, correct?

Every CAP needs to be converted to IAP but you can go directly to an AOS10 image as these are based on IAP code. That is also what i show in the video.

Great video! I think it would be great if you can show the best/recommended brownfield migration path to AOS10. Say I have two 7005s and multiple APs running AOS8 and I want to migrate to AOS10 with minimal downtime.

Unfortunately there is no best/recommended migration path to AOS10 as all current config needs to be configured from scratch in Aruba Central. I do show in video 2 and 3 how to convert AP"s and Controllers to AOS10.

Is it possible for central to manage or Adopt APs running AOS 8 or instant OS without having to convert them to AOS 10?

Is it possible to claim devices owned by another account without access to that other account? We were given donated APs and want to put them into our Central account but it seems they're still "owned" by another account. What can be done?

The other account owner needs to remove the assignment and detach the subscription from these devices before you can claim them. Otherwise you would be able to claim any device as long as you have the s/n and MAC address.

hi, if we upgrade, AP AOS 8 to 10 we can't able to access GUI?
@johnschaap5905

The InstantAP GUI in AOS 8 is not available anymore in AOS 10 as AOS 10 is a cloud native OS and management is done via Aruba Central.
