In my opinion, Ictomisauruses are similar not to owls or ravens, but to bats. Huge ears, like to wrap themselves in their wings like a cloak, and are associated with NIGHT-wind. They also seem to fly very differently from flower-feather clan's bird-like Saurians. Or maybe they're meant to be a mix of multiple animals, for extra mysteriousness.

Great video, but something caught my attention toward the end. I've been analyzing the elements for some time now and you just helped me out big time. The Issue: From 15:28 onwards: "But electro has been one of the elements that hide the more hidden meanings and secrets of things in Teyvat." Then examples listed (of Lisa, Fischl, Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko, Cyno, Sethos, Scaramouche, Clorinde, Ororon, Iansan) to prove that electro involves revelation of lore and truth and the concept of 'eyes'. Iktomisaurs' and Ororon's abilities resemble the functions of the memento lens given in Inazuma to reveal hidden details. Citlali being the odd one because she's cryo instead of electro. My Thoughts: - You're right! You've opened my eyes. Electro does involve hidden information. I'm impressed. - It further proves that Natlan has two tribes that are both affiliated with electro: Masters of the Night-Wind, and Collective of Plenty. And it makes sense for me. I'll do a video on this. Thank you so much for your insight, Aru. - Citlali being the odd one is fine, actually. Simply because the Masters of the Night-Wind focus on the unseen and hidden revelations does not mean all vision bearers from the tribe have to be electro. What they have in common are the occupation and culture, and methods, which are mystic arts. Ororon learned mystic arts from Citlali. So Citlali isn't odd. Actually it is fascinating that she's cryo. The fact that Natlan does not acknowledge the cryo element is mindblowing. CRYO IS SUS. Once again, thank you.

​@@AruHiseki Actually I've had a lot of back and forth in my analysis till now. I've had a change of mind after reading the lore of the Prayers for Illumination, Prayers for Destiny, Prayers for Wisdom and Prayers to Springtime, and checking several Cryo lifeforms. I'm now inclined to believe Masters of the Night-Wind are indeed Cryo-affiliated. The Iktomisaurs themselves seem to be Anemo because they can fly, but the color is a bit different from Anemo. I'd say they are Cryo, rather than Anemo, because of their ability of perception. That, or, they are Cryo-Anemo creatures, because they are inspired by spirit beings.

​@@MnatlaniDaimaI think one thing people seem to mess with those bat owl things is the attack you with a a shard. Yes they are so hit you with air but also in the air is an ice shard. I kept getting confused about the ice shard hit me anytime I get close to them let them attack me for a bit just to make sure it was from them. So saying there is no ice elements in this nation is a lie.

8:25 Citlali is close to 200 years old, but not over. Some Natlanese girl said "instead of being a granny, it would be more accurate to say my great-great-great [...] grandmother" but citlali says in some cutscene she's "not even 200 years old yet" or some such... maybe this was said when talking about lazying around the house in pajamas or some-such... I'm too lazy to check right now.

That strange feeling when a random melusine visiting People of the Springs is twice as old as Citlali. I guess it's the same feeling as when Ganyu is 7 times as old as Yae Miko.

It's crazy how we got Mare Jivari lore back when the game first released. Back then I would always look into the non rendered hills of the out of bounds areas and fantasize, what the future maps could look like. In my mind Mare Jivari was always grey and ashy and dark. And not a part of the main Teyvat map (just like Enkanomiya or the Chasm underground)

Ochkanatlan is inspired by the Mayan ruins of Tulum Quintana Roo, Mexico or the archaeological zone of Tikal. Och kaan is a Mayan word that means boa or rat snake. In Mesoamerican tradition, the snake is associated with the fertility and reproductive powers of the earth. In Mayan culture, the snake was a calendar sign of good fortune.

"The wind doesn't blow in the Mare Javari." I think i can understand this better now with what info we have now. So since Natlans lay lines are just plain fucked, i think this could be the key. Hans gave Venti Stanley's soul because Stanly wasn't from Nattlan. So Stanley probably couldn't enter the night kingdom, like other adventurers that came from outside of Natlan. This is just surface level, and I hope to learn more with the inclusion of the Mare Javari later.

Nice video I like when people make connections between the elements and existing concepts connected to them like how u said dendro is knowledge and tech and electro is related to insight and a sort of third eye. I like how Citlali is cryo I don’t think every tribe’s vision holders and ancient name bearers should have the same element but I like that there’s a theme deeper lore to why each tribe has it’s obvious element connection.

Elements in relation to tribes don't make much sense generally, and i'm starting to think that's intended by developers. Like phlogiston actually fucks up elements of PO and they do not work in Natlan as we'd expect

I have a phobia of moths, so the first thing I noticed was Iktomisauruses resemblance to them. It could be a coincidence tho since moths also share similarities with bats like echolocation and nocturne life. But I think the way butterflies/moths are seen as messengers between the world of the death and the mortal realm (particularly in aztec mythology), the eye-like motifs in the wings, the fluffy face with big antennae, etc., makes it pretty connected. And there's also the goddess Itzapapálotl known as Obsidian Butterfly, with motifs representing her based apparently on the emperor moth

The glass is a "tri-lakshasa creature". All of them reveal hidden things when struck by electricity. Yes, that includes the bouncy mushrooms.

Electro has some power to break illusions. Some Raiden boss attacks are examples of this. This is also connected to the real archon Makoto who died in the abyss. I don't want to spoil it, but I have a theory about what really happened in Khaenhia.
