I didn't talk about weapons in the video, but I'll give a brief explanation to help you decide which to use At 11:07, there is a chart, detailing what each character's abilities scale off of. For 3 star and 4 star weapons, you mainly just want to match the main stat of the weapon, with that of the ability scaling. So a character in the defense category, would like a defense weapon to help with their damage. An Atk scaling character would want a weapon to increase atk, etc. But this isn't always the case for supports. Support characters who get a lot of value from their bursts, will want energy recharge weapons, like the favonious ones, to get their bursts as fast as possible.

Was about to comment this too. While opinions differ, I'd recommend doing as many bosses as you can because the F2P weapons require a billet. Billets are kind of hard to get en masse and weekly bosses are at least a semi-reliable method to get them. Each boss also gives an elemental gem needed for awakening. Only bosses (be they overworld or weekly) can drop them so you'd want to stock up on as many as possible. They never stop being an important resource.

I've seen a lot of "F2P" guides throughout the years that use 4* characters, but those were 4* characters that can only be obtained through rolling on the gacha, but your video has been consistently using the starter characters (and the Traveler) to clear all the story content. Kudos to you!

You can lower world level once you've reached world level 5, it'll give you more in depth info on it as a whole once you do what I've stated below: Head to the menu and press the 'i' button, it'll have a number right next to it stating your world level. Once you click the 'i' it should give you the option to lower/raise world level. Once you're ready to put it back to the world level you're at now you can follow the same steps to raise it back.

I always love this kind of videos. It reminds me of searching these videos back in 2022 when I starting out. This one is definitely one of the best ones, as it covers the actual quest content and exploration and not just top level tips like level weapons and ascension first before artifacts (which is good advice too! but it is given anytime a new person asks for tips).

Not sure about this, but I think you can save some time during the first Raiden Shogun battle if you just bring one character and let yourself get hit to low HP, it will not let you die and the fight ends automatically!

You can challenge more than 3 weekly bosses a week, no? They changed that a looooong time ago. It's just that the first three cost half as much resin to loot. (You can also easily find ascension mats in-game now without the interactive map by clicking the tooltip on the needed item, but that was just added with 5.0, so it's very understandable that the video isn't updated to reflect that since you've been working on it so long!) Looks like a really good guide for beginners.

personally i don’t like the quick start for natlan as a lore enjoyer. with how late into the story natlan is, going from liyue to natlan really doesn’t make sense and you lose out on a lot of the emotional impact of a lot of the story. also how does it work for the quests you skip over? are they just gone forever? it really doesn’t make sense to me (this feature really only makes sense to use if you’re using an alt account and have already played the story before. otherwise it makes literally no sense) plus no one playing the first time should skip sumeru and especially fontaine that’s like peak genshin story not related to the tips it’s just cause that came up and that is like the one change in 5.0 that genuinely bothered me

Last time I fully played this game was when yae miko came out when cyno came out I had watched the trailer and downloaded the game back but I only downloaded it back so I could summon on him I was able to get him and I deleted the game I forgot about the game until navia came out because I kept seeing her on TikTok and KZbin so I downloaded it back again to summon on her I was able to get her with the free primogems they gave us or they were old primogems but I remember I had some in the mail I had claim and summon on navia banner I had got her leveled her up and deleted the game but now with xilonen just coming out I decided to download the game back and this time actually played it like I used to back in 2020-2022 (I was legit the biggest Genshin fan boy back in the day I was always playing it during every hour of the day) so while I wait for it to download I kinda wanted a little guide and your video was the first one to pop up so thank you for this guide and I hope this time I continue to play Genshin Impact and not delete the game.
