can we get new episodes upscaled to 4k60 uploads? for bitrate purposes, this game has a lot of blocky compression artifacts with the limited bitrate running out from all the fine textures and smooth lighting gradients

Alright.. So here's the bad news. Unfortunately Steejo recommended I switch over my encoding settings to h.265, so I did. And it defaulted to 2500 kbps instead of my normal 10,000-20,000 variable bitrate. So for the first number of episodes the video quality isn't up to standard. But then I figured out the issue, and it will be gloriously smooth. Fortunately the first few stages of the game have less "activity" than the later stages, so I hope you'll bear with the bitrate until it gets better. #blamesteejo

Just had a crazy flashback from the days when 4 players was the limit of Factorio and then they fixed it and Arumba did the first mass multiplayer game. (That was so long ago it feels weird having it dredged up from the depths of my memory)

Does the multi-player mod work with the dark fog update? We can't seem to get it to work but it's my first time trying multi-player. So not sure if it's me? Or if the mod does not support dark fog yet.

Just because I initially questioned it too, I imagine the reason it goes 1, 3, 5, 7 is that you can make any number you want out of two odd numbers, but two evens will only ever be even. And the devs probably didn't want the arguably more awkward looking 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 option.

As an electrical engineer, and just to correct Steejo like he asked (admittedly a month late). Windmills do need to be soaced out because as 1 spins it causes turbulence in the air downstream which lowers the power available for the next turbine in its wake, and this is the primary reason for spacing them out significantly farther than just ensuring they physically won't hit eachother.

I'm having trouble getting the multiplayer mod to work for me and my friend who want to play together. The Galactic Scale mod was fine. However, everytime I launched the multiplayer mod it would lose display connectivity after a few seconds in the main menu. Do you have any suggestions/solutions on a fix?

Shockingly we were able to connect immediately without any issues. Never happened before. If I had to guess though, connectivity issues are usually port forwarding or DMZ issues. If you can access your routers settings you might be able to get it working. You can also ask for help on my discord server and there are people who could help.

This game cracks me up. It will fairly frequently get an error (only from mods though) but afterwards it just... Keeps playing. I've never managed to get the game to crash. So.. It's very stable.
