Thank you for this precious Jugalbandi. The only absence I feel in this presentation is this: the absence of a live tanpura. Why do I say it? Because the live tanpura produces harmonics (in Indian theory they are called svayambhoo SRuti-s = microtones that Nature generates) which qualitatively improve the players' tone perception, his or her musical awareness, and also gets transferred to the listener even through amplification, recording, digitalization, etc. leading to a richness that an electronic tanpura cannot emulate. Decalration: I am not a tanpura maker or a seller. Just a lover of music enriched by a real tanpura, mistakenly called the "drone."
