Govt of Arunachal Pradesh removed the tribal category of " Any Naga tribe" in Arunachal Pradesh and given a different distinct name to each Naga tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. So will Nagas of Arunachal Pradesh prefer to live within Arunachal Pradesh state or want integration with Nagaland. They should make their stand clear.

The fact is Tirap Changlang and Longding districts people of Arunachal Pradesh don't want to join in greater Nagaland. Please visit in TCL areas and ask any simple person whether they want to join with Nagaland, the answer will come Big NO. You can ask any student, farmer, intellectual, businessman etc. 98 percent people of TCL will reject from joining in Nagaland. And offcourse one or two persons who are OGW of insurgents may support for integration. Reason for opposing integration:- TCL people severely suffer enough from hand of Naga insurgents. MP, MLA, students, businessmen, politicians, Teacher, farmers etc were being killed by Naga insurgents and extortion, kidnapping still continuing. So hatred started arose to every TCL person against Naga insurgents. Hence they don't want to join in greater Nagaland.

Why join nagaland? When the nscn and freedom movement is compromised. All those underground workers and self styled boss in nagaland and Manipur are businessman. Why should we join them?? Tlc need separate statehood with our brothers from Eastern nagaland(especially the konyak, khiam, phom and Chang region. They are our blood) with us and parts of assam in tinsukia and sibsagarh district. Why can't all of us so called backwards of arunachal and backwards of nagaland join together. We have similar dialects and similar customs. Tangsa, nocte, wancho, tutsa, ollo, konyak, phom, khiam, Chang all under northern naga group. The original nogas not the British slave nagas. The great progeny of tang wang and Shang wang. And later we will force the Indian govt and Myanmar govt to let our brothers in nanyun, tanai etc township of NSAZ and kachin province to join our state under the union of India. Specially protected and preserved like our forefathers wanted.

The word 'Naga' was coined after the confronting with Patkai Naga i.e Tangsa, Tutsa, Nocte and Wancho before independence those tribes were not recognised by tribes to Britishers/ahoms/ India. So they named it as 'Naga' in common. We TCL Nagas need permanent peace, development, prosperity and security in the region. Multiple taxation from NGPs has affected the region and human resources compared to other tribes. Arunachal Nagas needed REGIONAL AUTONOMOUS TERRITORY COUNCIL (RATC) which was agreed between both parties. Since, GOI has rejected the Integration of all Naga inhabited areas is not possible but PAN Naga hobo for cultural body which is acceptable. Integration may create a law & order situation and also the fear psychosis amongst the Nagas from different states will always prevails. Specific to Arunachal Nagas we need separate Autonomy for TCL affairs. Which we were demanding from 2001 as Patkai Autonomous District Council in Arunachal Pradesh.

We TLC need separate statehood under Government of India. Eastern nagaland people of nagaland should join us too as they have suffered under the so called politics of advanced tribes like Sema, ao, angami, lotha since they separated from NEFA to join them. A history very less of us knows. They are our own kith and kins with similar everything. Both of us has suffered by stepmother treatment by the capital centric tribes in both states. Arunachal we only see nyishi, adi, galo, apatani taking everything as they are capital centric tribes. Why can't we live under one union as we all are under Indian govt? "Under Tangshang banner" Nocte,tangsa,tutsa,wancho, ollo, konyak, phom, khiam, Chang. We all are one people originating from tang and Shang roots. Why can't we join hands? Also our mentality and evrything is similar aswell. Nscns and all those petua underground leaders are just contractors and businessman. Politicians are hijda madarchots as we all know. Why we came under naga nationalism and movement is because of phizo who came to our areas(changlang namtok circle) to preach us for brotherhood and sovereignty which my grandfather told. We helped him mainly because the govt of India was after him. From here he went to Burma and from their to Thailand and England. But the scenario is different now. At that time we were free people unlike the naga hills. But now we are the victims. And the freedom movement has gone down the drain. It's all diplomacy now. Long live tangshang people, long live patkai hills, long live the original noga/noka maanu bilak.

Achi Buru I don't know if you have used the word "ancient" to exxagerate the historic sense here but technically the arrival of (C.E. 1280s ) Siukhapa can be considered Early Medieval, although they are the ones that addressed the hill people as Nagas to C.R Pemberton and Jenkins during 1830s , the Buranji in Tai-Ahom script use the word " Mien/Myien " there is no word as Naga ( Subject to correction. Also if any Tai-Ahom expert is reading please do correct me incase I am wrong ) Naga is a recent term and as much as people try to call it an ethnicity its not. And yes I know exactly what you have addressed here regarding their acceptance as Naga. Some chap from Wancho tribe although his title is Wangnaw which is very similar to Wangnao or Wangnaolim (of Konyak Nagas of Nagaland ) wants nothing to do with the Naga nomenclature.

Although the fact that having pierced ears was not an unique characteristic seen only among the Nagas. There is also this narrative that has been out there since the time Sanjeev Sanyal wrote his books on Indian History, where Naga was used as a word by ancient Indians to describe people with oriental features. There is no such thing as "naga". There is no link, or anything which connects these tribes together. In anthropological studies too, the konyak are related with arunachali tribes and kachari. The angami-pochuri are related with chakesang, Mao, sema, rengma etc. The Ao are related with Sangtam, Lotha, Yimchunger. The zeliang are related with rongmei, Mzieme, Inpui, Maram, Thangal. The tangkhul are related with Meitei and Maring. There is no definition or criteria or justification for the usage of "Naga". If the Britishers were not in the North East frontier of India, the term “Naga”, there would be no such people identifying as naga today. A tangkhul cannot link himself/herself with the angamis or zeliang, nor with the arunachali nagas. It's like meitei calling themselves nagas by linking themselves with Maring and Tangkhul, since they are related. An angami-pochuri also shares no relation with other groups like zeliangrongmei and thangkhuls, removing the word Naga is like correcting the non-sensical grouping made by the British. Even in anthropology the word Naga as no value since it's an erroneous grouping. In my anthropological studies only the Kuki-chin-mizo, Apatani, Adi are proper groupings.

There is a saying "little knowledge is dangerous" You have mentioned that all civil Organization of TCL as goons/stooge of NSCN & NNPGs. On what basis do you accuse those organisations? In Assam Karbi dominated area we Rengma still have maintaining our identity... thought they denied us scheduled tribes in Assam still we won't give up. Its just a exploited form of word given to the people of tlc of Nefa(arunachal) by the tai ahoms when they passed through our region in 12th century. We have a long history with ahom-noga relationships since centuries of war and friendship aswell. Naga(britishers pronunciation) exploited form of Noga (ahom pronunciation) of the local word "Nok"/"nokta" to be specific which means our people or local people in the dialect of tlc tribes of arunachal. No doubt our ancestors were called as noga by the plains assamese tribes but we are never attached to it because we have our own local identity beside that. Britishers took those term subjugated the manipur and naga hills and have the term naga to those tribes in late 18th century. So whether using naga or no naga is not a big deal to us. We know our history, our roots our kins. FYI the Nefa areas(the real noga tribes) were never colonised by britishers. Hence, we may lack at education and development brought by britishers to the rest. Arunachal is full tribal land unlike assam or manipur with multiple tribes and subtribes. But no doubt if we feel neglected we will demand our own home within our own kith and kins. Neither in arunachal or nagaland(can see the conditions of eastern nagaland people) Our people are just waking up. What's there in the name naga? Just take it. But don't steal our history and copy our ornaments. From patkai hills of TLC the blood of Tang Shang clans. Grandson of a noka maanu.

Im from nagaland i know there is no naga in arunachal pradesh.Even in nagaland no naga tribes exists except the 16 tribes under the nomenclature of nagaland.Who are tangkhuls to claim themselves as nagas.The sumis or any other tribes of nagaland are not knowns as nagas,they are known and recognisised by their tribal name.

Naga issued was not solved because of tribelism between the nagas started by naga of nagaland blaming tangkhul naga tribe. Who is the leader of naga club? Rs Ruichumhoa was the leader who formed the naga club in 1918, he is a tangkhul naga tribe. Naga of manipur tangkhul naga formed the naga club but some youtuber like you and some naga of nagaland try to divide naga by not knowing the history. I pledge that you just or heard the name Rs Rachunhao bt just now. I know that during your stay out in nagaland being a student of naga you would not have participated in any field protesting, protecting the right of naga. Know your history naga from nagaland. Naga of nagaland was formed by nnpg. Among all the tribe of nagas trying to divide naga is headed by sumi and Ao.
