Aruni punch doesn’t seem to like breaking walls when you punch directly beside an indestructible wall, this seems to be because the punch is an “aoe” effect, and if some of the aoe is on the indestructible, it doesn’t break it

It's not just Aruni punch with shields, its every damn shield just decides to sometimes not flinch when meleed, played a game last night with my friends where 2 of us both melee'd at a blitz and connected but neither hits moved his shield.

Novice tip I learned recently: don't do everything pro guides tell you to do. What works for them might not work for you. For example, a beginner's guide video I watched recommended increasing your FOV so you can see more, but that didn't work out for me since my playstyle usually involves utility and holding angles. So I decreased my FOV to the default and now I'm bagging a lot more kills. I thank my exposure to the Varsity Gaming charm for helping me make this wise decision.

Maybe if she stays a 1 speed she could get 4th gate, would that be viable? It seems there are many counters including the occasional osa shield that disables it. I use it primarily on windows to avoid brava some more.

I started using her recently, and last night after destroying a few teams, I was just thinking how underrated she is, and "how have I not been playing her til now??" Cuz if you just look out for kludge drones, she's great. Amazing gun, great gadget for slowing down attack, and the one punch is honestly really good for niche situations like making lines of sight, or breaking down castle barriers, etc.

The M14 EBR with ACOG fucks, I've been playing Aruni lately to increase my versatility for my team and it's amazing what the gun can do. At 4:58 I think whats happening is you're hitting the lower part of the window, this is what would happen with "real" guns your optic would be on their head but the barrel is pointing at the window. I might be completely wrong though and bullets might originate at crosshair not the barrel though. EDIT: You can see there is a small particle effect at the bottom of the window when shooting, I'm pretty sure I'm right.

Just to add sometimes it is due to the game being jank at times since (idk if it's been patched) some characters can shoot through a pixel size hole and get kills. An example of one I know of is like osa when the shield is planted they can get a pixel gap to shoot from. Also might want to change the f for an s ......unless it was intended

r6 bullets come out of the scope/crosshair, not the barrel, its how a lot of pixel angles n stuff work. Def part of the game being jank as ive had this issue happen before with other guns. might have something to do with the recent scope changes not reflecting where the crosshair is or something, but thats just a pure guess.

I know there's the DMR but still run the smg. Sometimes I swith to the DMR depending on the site/map if i pretend to hold long angles but i have more fun with the smg, it's a great gun if you only fight one enemy at a time, otherwise you're dead.

I get that the attacker repick is to aid in those who solo or duo queue and keep other attackers in the game relevant, but I absolutely can't stand it. It puts a good amount of defender's pick rates into the dirt because all they have to do is swap to an attacker that null and voids your selection. It should be swapped back to 1 operator change

Aruni is definitely a top 5 defender for me. Good on any map, can rotate whenever, destroys hatches and barricades in one punch, she’s really the whole package, her ability is great for info as well and to remove utility.

The main issue with Aruni is also the main issue with Brava, the two are locked in an absolute death spiral with one another. The reason nobody picks Aruni is because they know that the Attackers will just take a Brava and make her useless at best and outright self-destructive for her team at worst. The amount of games I've won because they've went Aruni and placed the gates between areas so that when I hack them they're essentially cut off from the site is insane. But that's the problem with Brava too. There's near enough to no purpose in picking Brava when Aruni isn't in play. Her drones still get countered by Mute since you've got to wait in the open to hack them, Kapkan really doesn't see much play at higher levels than like Bronze, and if you're going for cams you might as well just pick Dokkaebi and get them all at once instead of having to pick and choose. The only other thing she's genuinely useful for is hacking Melusi's banshees.

I had a weird bug with Brava and Arubi yesterday. I tried to hack an Arubi gate with my 3rd Kludge shot, but it didn't let me hack it. I got the prompt (where your crosshairs go more to the middle) but when I shot, it didn't hack.

That has nothing to do with her punches feeling ''weird'', thats just you misinterpreting how and or where the punches will land and you need to adjust your aim when you punch. Look more to the left when you punch rather then in the middle and or right side. In this clip you are clearly hitting the container/hard wall edge of the wall. Where there is no destruction, aim better

I am so glad that I'm not the only person with hit detection problems. I originally thought I was having a bad day.. what made me sus when I landed 12 out of 19 shots to Dokabi head and she lived with 80% hp.. The there where times I downed someone and a team mate finished them off halfway through A bleed out and I get zero credit. Forgot to mention in 1 of the rounds my brava drone couldn't hack anything.
