It's from the Helms Deep scene. Arwen was originally supposed to be in the scene, but they ended up cutting her out of it.

Kon ik het niet met 8 vlechten doen,maar met 4 vlechten en hij is redelijk gelukt al zeg ik 't zelf. :) Dank je wel voor deze mooie haardracht.

I tried this hairstyle purely based on my memory of this vid and it did not come out the way it should've. I lace braided all the braids instead of the two that you did...my memory seemed to be really messed up because it looks like corn row braids braided into the fours strand braid like yours😁. I guess I will have to try again but with your video. I LOVE THIS HAIRSTYLE though. 😍

I absolutely LOVE this hairstyle. I made it just with four braid, but I'll try it with eight :) But if I do the four-strand braid, I cross the left strand over the next, then the right strand under it's neighbor, and then I cross the middle strands, the one going from the top goes under. I don't know why, but for me it is easier :D

I did this braid and I have to say that it looked amazing!!I actually wore it outside and I had people comment on how intricate and pretty it looked!!Thank you!!.However,I tried to do the four-strand but it was just impossible for me to work on the back of my head(I actually learnt how to do this braid from this video and I still need a lot of practice!), so I just did a normal three-strand.It still looked nice even though it wasn't as flat as the four-strand would have been! Thanks again!! :)

my hair is not long enough to cross the braids so i just braid them like you and then when i'm finished i use bobby pins to secure them in place and they look like they are crossed i always briad my hair like this for archery class

I'm so sad. I got up to about point 4.50 and realised.... my hair is not long enough! When I cross over the plaits, that's pretty much it, there's nothing left. I suppose I'll try tucking under the hair and improvising.
