This is such a great Demonstration of why Constant Pressure is so much Valuable rather than high outputs of healing(healing numbers) i always admire that part of your playstyle and Theory behind it, as always great job ARX❤

Yeah you said that pretty spot on, I think you should always do damage whenever you can just don’t let your team die.

Fr but everyone’s so quick to shout “DPS Moira omg”. Like bro, I had both of their supports trying to keep each other alive and one of the DPS peeling on me. You’re effectively all a 4v2 yet you want me to heal bot our DVA 1v1ing their Zarya…

The reasoning behind damage being stronger than healing makes a lot of sense when you consider the tempo advantage that dealing damage gives you. When you're dealing damage, the enemy support has to turn to heal it. During this time, they're not dealing any damage to your team, and you can still deal damage while they're healing, forcing them to heal even more. Basically dealing damage puts the enemy team on the back foot, while healing can only ever undo damage but doesn't give your team any kind of tempo advantage, because during the time you spent healing they're still dealing more damage that you also have to heal. Idk if that makes sense but that's just how I think about it

Damage vs Healing makes sense when you think about the fact that killing the other teams stops them from damaging your squad. Main reason I hate heal bots that don’t do damageZ

What is the Zen even complaining about? They died thrice the entire game and all of them are deaths you couldnt really prevent

You serious? I admit that Arx’s the greatest Moira player as far as I know, but if he can keep the balance between flanking and pocketing healing and make better decisions, he can be better. Moira doesn’t have enough survivability and solo kill potential as tracer does, and solo flanking as Moira sometimes take high risks and low rewards,especially when your another support’s playing zen.

The Zen had 2 deaths after the second round ended. Given the way the game was going, who was going to be sending them back to spawn every 20 secs? So sick of overdramatic teammates 🙄

people literally just see a Moira and get triggered into complaining no matter whats actually happening in the game. I've been in games we are winning where I have 2x the healing of our other support and someone still complains about dps Moira. Other supports can play like utter garbage and have no contribution and never get flamed but a Moira simply exists and everyone has to invent a reason to complain.

@@wyattxiangli2533 i mean, stats tell a lot of the story. And when people complain its because they see stats. But when it comes to moira, they don't care about anything else happening in the game. If there is a moira on the team its all their fault. If a moira does any damage, its a trash dps moira, if a moira doesnt do enough damage then they're a healbot. Literally the only way to not get complaints while playing moira is to get 20k dmg and 20k healing. Seriously, just keep an eye on your games and tell me how often someone starts trashing the moira when you can see they are playing just fine. Its an epidemic in overwatch.

@@dash4800 I’ve been watching Arx for a long time and he’s the best Moira as far as I know, but he didn’t carry this game apparently, and many team fights lost because of it, flanking knowing enemy has a bodyguard cassidy with supports healing is stupid, plus they were full health and the fight was just gonna begin, enemies had lots of ults and blue team needed tons of healing to sustain, that team fight was bound to lose unless his teammates can get picks before the fight, which is pretty hard. Stats doesn’t matter if they can’t win the game, just check everyone else’s pov, it’s pretty obvious. If you think Moira doesn’t have enough impact then swap, if your teammates suck then gg go next.

Arx flanks - his team helps him kill everything, I flank- my whole team insta dies coz of no healing to just one hog….. whole team dies to one hog . Like watching your vids but most of the times you have humans on your team whereas I got literal bots

I feel you. That’s why whenever I get a teammate who dives with me, I always try to add them as a friend. It’s a night and day difference playing with people who are on the same page as you.

Yup. The tempos and expectations of different ranks are so vastly different. I'm plat and still have to heal bot or my team falls apart. The concept of cover isn't quite there yet.
