I saw arijan first a month ago and thought the whole blender andrew tate vibe was funny. Even though i didnt know initially, now i know that i subbed cause we have a similar mindset on certain things. I definately share his determination to succeed in a nieche field, the addiction to chat gpt, and the ideal that money without impacting other's positively is a waste. Even though i will probably play video games till i'm geriatric, i definitely agree with arijan that they should not control your life. Im 17 rn and i just started my blender/youtube journey. Truly i am grateful to arijan for sharing his knowledge and helping other people like me from poor countries make it. Thanks sm and goodluck.

Hard part is actually creating good 3D and beating everyone else first of all. And 2nd is finding clients that are willing to pay. The guy featured in the video that was mentioned, he does KZbin shorts of satisfying visuals, is he actually getting enough pay to make a living off that? Would love him to reply here. Reality is 3D art can potentially take years to get good at to even land a junior entry job. OR you freelance and not get paid in some periods in between.

Too saturated. So not technically ideal for anyone who has no experience, or just starting out. Which is why I don't take this seriously until I have a reason to take this seriously. I consider product visualization just as a hobby, and not a job. I will create things here and there and post to my portfolio. But until then, I'll just have to be contempt working my 9 to 5, and finding other ways to make money. 3D Product visualization isn't the only way.

I was once working in the 3D architecture visualization field about 18 years ago in Norway. It was in the early days of 3D and I had my own company. I totally understand your message here, because you have to be willing to go out there in the field and do all that is needed for the customer to get him what he wants. I remember one day I was asked if I could do a areal movie of a building site and film the lot before the houses was built, and then make a 3D animation with the houses in place. I had never done that and my answer was "of course". We rented a helicopter (drones was not invented) and I filmed the project land, and learned the software and made the 3D tracking and movie visualization in one week. Work was almost 24/7. People just don't understand how many other skills is needed besides Blender to make a living out of it.

The younger generations today are raised in a world which convinces us to believe that it's not supposed to be that hard, and that if we just go with the flow of society, we will succeed. You have to be original and adaptable, nobody is here to take us by the hand at the end of the day. Great story, thanks for sharing.

thank you bro. I really appreciate the words. the part that really stood out for me is to stop seeking perfection or whatever and make a buck.
