In 1992 when my country was attacked by Russia in the war in Transnistria, Ukraine made a corridor for the Russian army and provided soldiers for this conflict. Thousands of my compatriots were killed. I continue to have both Ukrainian and Russian friends and I don't blame them or hate them for life. I am surprised by the behavior of the Ukrainian athletes who do not want to shake hands. We have to be awake people and show with conscience that we are human beings who care about each other, maybe that's how all conflicts will end. Peace!
