I still remember back in the 2003-2006 era IND vs PAK matches... Yonis Khan was the backbone of the Pakistani team. One of the best middle order player of Pakistan so far. I became younas khan's fan when in a test match, Muhammad wasim dropped a catch and wasim akram (who was the captain then) shouted at him and cursed him. M. Wasim felt bad n was hurt so younas khan consoled him. N I've always seen him smiling on the field. Never saw him cursing another player. How can these players say he was strict? He's the man of principles may be thats why they had problems with him.

Younis could be a strict person but not only his personal batting but leadership records speak volumes for this guy. About the strictness, unfortunately Pakistani culture fosters politics in a team, regardless it's sports or working in a company. Being a Pakistani, I can share my worst experience of life was working under a super strict boss, but at his departure he mentioned that he wanted to push me beyond limits. Now 10 years later, I can attest to his words and can easily say that I learnt the most under him. In short, a strict leader isn't necessarily a wrong one!

This is one of the root causes why PAK cricket is going down day by day. Players doen't respect the coaches,captain. PCB doesn't have any transparency. This is bizzare. Very unprofessional . People of PAK should stop seeing cricket for at least a year and when they will not have viewership you will see the change of mindset in PCB and players. Yunis Khan can be clearly seen while he is very strict on morals but then also seems that he has major issues of EGO as well. The concept that he cannot be taken to Eng due to his personal surgery should have been accepted. He has been an amazing player but politics is a major issue. One player we can be 100% never did any fixing is Afridi ! AFRIDI was always a hit and miss he was taken in the team for face value and a crowd Turner. He always said I am a bowler and ill just play my style.
