The AS-44 is in my opinion the best 3 shot kill rifle in the game at the moment. Although does anyone get the vibes that is gun is a reskinned AK-47 from past cods?

I now cant decide whether to use the AVS-36, Automaton or now the AS-44. They all act the same, slow fire rate but good damage, although AS-44 has more recoil. Its like the Man-of-War of WWII

Honestly, when I unlocked the AS-44 and used it, I didn't imagine it would be that good of a gun, it's like the closest thing to an AK47 but WW2 style lol, I love it

Love this gun, if you use grip, for recoil down site, then steady aim for hip fire, and a reflex site, all you have to do is start to hip fire then aim, headshot 80%, even thru walls

Ace, I’ve got a challenge for you. The No Kills challenge. Whats the highest score you can get without getting any kills in a match? Cavalry Division is best to get you extra objective score, shield assists and using Recon/Counter Recon gets some extra score. But, no kills. (The hardest part is not shooting by reflex when you see people 😂)

Really cool gun. Definitely is a pre ak 47 and ak m rifle especially since it is a 7.62 caliber.

3 shot rifles are a very commonly used weapon type. Variety within this pocket of play style is always welcome since many players stick to it but want something new without sacrificing competitiveness. It was a welcome addition and smokes people. It also looks way cool. That Bear 2 variant!😼

i like how the bar is in the lower category for hip fire but in game the hip fire on that gun is almost always laser accurate

Not to mention that the lower damage at range and high recoil this is a subpar weapon. It's like a Grease Gun without the SMG benefits and harder to use recoil.

It's quite viable, not as strong as the BAR imo. Would prefer a fast fire-rate rifle, there are plenty of slow 3-shot ones already.

I second that. I want another fast firing one. I love the volk but I only have the defiance variant and the short rifles have just *AWFUL* muzzle flash... And I can't unlock any other variants in my 10d of play time.

@@simonsic - I didn't get to use it when it was op. It seems like a 4 attachment gun to me. Rapid fire, high caliber, Ext mag, advanced rifling. Whenever I play without those attachments it just doesn't feel like a good gun

After playing with commando I must say it's much better than armored right now for objective game modes. Using hunker + 2nd basic training + faster regen is much better than armored with basic training. I guess you guys could try it as well

Best shipment class. As-44 with red dot, rapid fire, extended mags, with commando division and as for basic training scoped and energetic. Im telling you rn I have bin using this class setup for the last couple days and I’m just beaming kids rushing and staying back.

I know a good pick my class that is like inverted from that russain class you made for a while ago. I call it Mother Russia Class Arms: PPsh - 41 with drum magazine, rapid fire and steady aim Svt - 40 Basic training: Rifleman to be able to have the Svt Scorestreaks: Molotov Coctails Artillery Carpet bombing Or another clas that i call US Airborne Arms: M1928 with drum magazine and foregrip M1 Garand Basic training: Rifleman to be able to have the M1 Scorestreaks: Emergency airdrop Paratroopers Ball turret Gunner A tip: use the US Airborne class as an american on operation supercharge to make it more realstic.

DXT0anto i forgot about the ITRA. Type 5 I don’t think is really that unique. Its pretty much no different from the SVT. Volk has a very different feel to the other automatic rifles, and so I mentioned that. But ITRA and gewher are both also very different. But the amount of 3 shot rifles weve been given even after even...we already had the BAR and FG 42, now we have the M2, the AVS, Automaton, this new one, over and over its the same gun just different fire rate xD we need some actual flavor here, cuz this shit gone stale! Screw rifles, worthless.

I run it with Rapid fire, quickdraw and extended mag but I learned from your video quickdraw doesn't really do a lot so I'm gonna replace it with grip. I am a person that aims low so I have no problems at all with the iron sight. In fact, I do better without reflex than I do with it.

I agree with ace, the iron sights on the AS44 is horrendous especially since the gun has high recoil, with the tiny sights and the butt of the gun zoomed to your face it's hard to see where your shooting especially when the gun kicks up hard, we need a variant that's looks like ak47 from BO1 or a modern day ak47 because those iron sights on those guns are perfect

The AS-44 is definitely one of my Top 5 Favourite Rifles. Although I hate the fact that it is ANOTHER 3 Shot Rifle, it kicks ass and I like the feel of it. Its one of those guns (in my opinion) which needs a few attachments but doesn't need a whole lot of attachments. For example, I can't use the gun without Grip and Lens Sight because of the Sights and Recoil. But with them It becomes a Solid Gun where I can use any attachment for the last slot which is typically High Calibre or Advance Rifling (Rapid Fire and Extended Mags isn't too necessary). So yeah. great gun that I'm still using while falling down in the sky (if you catch my meaning). Looking forward to the other weapons, mostly on the LMG.

I usually run Infantry with this, having Grip, Quickdraw, Reflex and Extended Mags on it, it's a really good rifle but I can't decide what I like more, this or the AVS-36 (I also use the same setup with that gun, and Hustle for the perk on both classes).

Okay, after using this gun for a while i've found a class that works. Division: Expeditionary, Primary Attachments: Reflex, Grip, Advanced rifling, Secondary: Bazooka Tacticals: S-Mine x2, Gas Grenades x2, Basic Training: Specialist: Scoped, Hustle, Instincts. It's bad for run n gun, even though the description claims it can lay down heat it's awful. The AS-44 fires ghost rounds (rounds that don't register) so you end up mag burning and it can be frustrating. It requires a more reserved playstyle, not camping but cautious as it's inconsistent when it comes to TTK due to it being bugged.

It’s an ok AR. If I need to use a rifle, obviously I’m going with the BAR, but I’ve been grinding this one to see if it can hang. War game play, I find myself almost pre-firing to win most gun fights and it’s hard to get feeds. Need to unlock rapid fire still.

I love this gun in hardcore. I use fmjs, the reflex site, an i been experimenting with the 3rd attachments. I been getting hipfire kills without steady aim, i been getting long range kills without grip, an u dont really need quick draw. I think ima stick with advance rifling cuz at times it take 2 shots to put ppl down at ranges where other AR guns only take 1 shot.

Trouble with me is I've fps for a long time and cod was a ww2 game at the start. The game has been going so long that it depends when you started playing to what you prefer.

Somewhere in the middle with this one. But I’m curious why you run specialist with commando? You get no score streaks and you have to earn the BT versus always having 2? I feel that I’m helped way more often by just having them and having better games even if I don’t get the third BT And then the rest at specialist. You have to streak 8-10 kills every life for it to be more beneficial

I think the reason why this assault rifle never put into service was because of bad timing. The prototype tested in 1945. And why is bad timing? Because the designer of AS-44 died in 1946. At that time of his death, the rifle is still in development. So the development ends there. Which is why AK-47 became a first Soviet assault rifle to be put in service. Had the designer never died, AS-44 would probably put in service by now.

I don't think I'll bother unlocking this one. It seems quite unremarkable. Still slaying with the volkswagongiveitup atm. Automaton was okay, for a while, but seems a bit meh ish now.

I can’t control the recoil on guns like this or the avs that has similar recoil. I find that in certain situations the bounce throws you off target like trying to shoot someone headglitching or long distance in general. I can control recoil on pretty much anything else but this gun I find it to be a problem
