I clicked so fast. I have had the As Above So Below set on my wishlist for so long. I just keep forgetting because of newer shiny decks. But I also tried to do pairing readings following this idea for a wmfew month years back and gave up because it wasn't working. I don't think I knew exactly what I wanted from those readings. Watching this I am ready to try again. Also this goes great with Lisa's new Magic of Divination series.

Crumbs this video has egged me on to purchase 4 decks. My Tarot of the Sidhe went mising a few years ago-it looks perfect with those cosmic decks. Also the Earth wisdom oracle with the So Above deck😅

I am watching this as I do some cooking for the week. When I am done I will have a Dawn Michelle inspired session with my decks. I have been studying Astrology since some time last year. Specifically how it relates to me as a person and how it relates to tarot. I have several oracle decks that feel cosmic: both Moonology decks, Queen of the Moon, Starcodes Astro, Heavenly Bodies, Herbal Astrology. Dream Visions is my cosmic tarot deck and Star Trek TNG Tarot is a tarot I am using more as an oracle with tarot associations. The Priestess of Light could also be cosmic by your definition (which I kind of agree with), but it feels very Earthy to me. Tarot of Vampyres feels very physical and therefore Earthy to me as well as Witches Tarot by Ellen Dugan, Tattoo Tarot, and Wild Unknown Tarot. So far I have been focusing on my cosmic decks, but adding a more Earthy deck might help me make sense of things better.

I absolutely love the As Above deck in the box set. Not a huge fan of the So Below deck though. So Below does have a great Hierophant card, which is an important card for me (I’m a teacher. It’s my zodiac card as I’m a Taurus.), but then they spelled it wrong… I think the So Below deck feels too mundane and also feels rushed, and that’s why I’m not as much a fan. The guidebook in the box set is great though. Provided so much foundational knowledge for my witchcraft.

I’m so new to everything, just a few weeks in, because for the majority of my life I was pushing away the pull I was feeling to anything magical due to religion. Well here I am at 52 (tomorrow) and for the past t years I have ditched man’s religion and have embraced God’s spirituality. I am excited, and I feel my true self finally coming through. I have been binging so many videos on KZbin and yours by far are my most favorite! I have acquired 6 decks of tarot and oracle and am expecting 2 more in the mail. I am in love with them all but have no idea what I’m doing and am hoping one of the decks will truly attach itself to my heart. lol. I am going to start a journal(I’ve watched your vids 😊) and want to start familiarizing myself with each card. Do you or anyone here have any advice on how best to do this? Thank you so very much !

First off, congrats for following a new path! 🎉 Not always easy but so worth it! I have learned tarot and oracle readings on my own. What I first did was to get decks that spoke to me, that I felt pulled by, then I spent time reading for others (and myself) but my growth and learning mostly happened when I read for friends and family. I'm almost reading out of intuition only today but when I first started I learned the RWS system a little just to get to know the basic meaning of each card. Then, as you will see, each creatior has its own twist on it. My best advice would be to get started and practice reading a few cards together and start to learn a few keywords for each. Then, let your intuition guide you. Trust your inner voice. The more we practice, the more we become more atuned to spirit and what Life wants to share with us through the cards. ❤

How wonderful, so glad to hear you've found this new path. I do hope it is a rewarding one for you! I recommend picking up Tarot Wisdom by Rachael Pollack if you want to really dive into each of the cards. I also highly recommend Lisa Papez's Tarot with Training wheels. She has a free course here on youtube and an additional course for learning more. Some day, I'll also get my book finished. :) I have a process that I like to do on studying a deck, which I find helpful. I do have a video on my channel called How I Study A Tarot Deck, and the related book will be back out on amazon soon. I honestly think the best way to learn tarot is just by working with the cards every day. Start with a daily card for a bit, then three some three card readings. You can read all the books in the world, but the best way to may a personal connection to the practice is just by showing up for it and doing the work. :) I do hope that helps.
