Do you remember the old days when this type of bands were criticized in the comments saying "this is not true metal" "Wacken is going to die for putting these bands on" or "they don't belong in this festival" it's good that all that stayed in the dustbin of history

Eh, Ken is a great guitarist and even the few clean vocals he did in My Own Grave weren't bad.. but I agree on the main clean vocals. I prefer the last guys voice over Neff's. This drummer sounded great, not sure who it is but I'll look it up.. either way, to say you're "badly" missing 3 of them is kinda silly, it's mostly just the clean vocals.

Finally a Pro Shot AILD concert, finding a video like this is like finding big foot, its physically impossible to find pro shot AILD concerts. Even their side project Wovenwar has a full length 30+ minute pro shot set, but AILD themselves never make videos like this for some reason?? Only 3 songs is blasphemy too, this band deserves a longer setlist I'd like to see an hour set from them with this quality
@Eeraz Жыл бұрын
The Setlist was longer (1h 15m), Wacken usually only uploads 3 Songs. Also those three probably are the only salvageable ones. Having been there , their set was full of Technical Issues. Tim was constantly messing with his InEars and tried his best but you could clearly tell he was getting insecure and frustrated. Iam a huge fan but unless you stood in the middle (I was Stageright 4th row) it became inaudible and hard to listen to.

Except that the lineup before this one was NOT the original line up, and many people don’t understand this. Tim and Jordan were the only founding members, and Phil, Nick, and Josh joined after a number of lineup changes stating around the FWC era. Even though the three mentioned left, Tim and Phil are the primary songwriters of the band and have been responsible for writing much of the band’s material.

people saying they don’t sound good or they are lost blame Nick Josh and Jordan, Tim did what he was supposed to, did time made up for it even has a second job making up for it as a social worker. So to me it’s like they made up then Nick Jordan and Josh became vindictive and wanted to see Tim fail which truthfully actually is the biggest slap in the face to the fans because it’s about the BAND not the individual members, so Tim and Phil had to scramble and luckily awesome guys came to back em up. This is also the first tour check out 2023 tours way better. These are people, your soul focus on individuals is what probably prevents you from enjoying the music having given into drama. So in a way Nick Jordan and Josh got what they wanted to make you not like the band you grew up with anymore out of spite. This is from an OG fan that loves all the dudes but the actions to ultimately break the original line up, which if your an old fan you’ll realize Tim, Phil, Josh, Jordan and Nick are not the ORIGINAL line up that people complain about, all besides Tim and Phil and Jordan really and Jordan is a long shot having given up on the band a while back it seems, also Jordan straight up ignored the band for 3 years after they toured in 2019 so yeah, did first if your a real fan of the music not just the people. This band did a lot all the guys let them all sort it out themselves and enjoy the music. Be happy Tim and Phil and the boys are still running AILD and Josh is in SPIRITBOX, Nick is in MIRE, and I hope Jordan gets back into music.❤
@keenman0403 Жыл бұрын
Josh left on good terms. He, Tim, and Phil still follow each other on social media to my knowledge and are good friends. The pandemic had people reconsider their career paths, and Josh decided to venture into different projects after being in the band for as long as he did. Unfortunately Nick did not feel rejoining the group was right for him, even cutting *everyone* associated with AILD off, and probably was still traumatized from all that had happened. I don’t really know what happened regarding Jordan; seems like it was some internal legal shit combined with him suddenly refusing to communicate with Tim and Phil. It stings because he is my favorite drummer in the genre. Despite all this, I’m stoked to hear what the new guys have to offer, and I trust Ryan can crush it with them after crushing it with MMI.
