absolutely, horizons and killing with a smile are still 2 of my favorite albums of all time, i cant believe they went with someone else for deep blue, and the new producer had the audacity to say that horizons was poorly mixed (theres a making of deep blue video) deep blue had such potential but they just never realized it and i think it was entirely due to the choice of producer

Wow, I'm so glad I watched this! I just started learning how to scream and seeing someone I idolize like Tim make a bunch of mistakes really gave me some confidence! I guess I figured someone like him just goes in does it perfectly and goes home. I would never have pictured him actually struggling and having to try and try again to deliver lines.

When you scream, you don't use your actual vocal chords. You use something called false chords that surround your true vocal chords to make the sound. Then it's just a matter of breathing in with your diaphragm, and either making the power come from that, or using your chest to make the constriction. It's kinda hard to explain. Just look up a video by Jared Dines called "How to Growl" or something like that. He does a better job explaining it than I do.
