The song ‘As If Nothing Ever Happened’ was inspired by an amazing image of John Lennon as an old man created by Turkish photographer Alper Yesiltas. It is borne out of a lifelong love of The Beatle’s music and is a musical interpretation of the emotions felt when imagining what could have been…
We shared a verse and a chorus last year (2023) and had such an amazing response that we knew we had to finish what we’d started.
In these challenging times, we believe Lennon's voice for peace would have been louder than ever.
This song is not about making any money or profit - it is not being monetised in any way on any platform. This song is about music, love and what could have been.

It was my Dad that turned me on to The Beatles right before The Ed Sullivan Show! He bought me Introducing The Beatles on VeeJay records as well as Meet The Beatles on Capitol. He bought tickets for my Mom, my sister and cousin to see The Beatles at Shea Stadium in 1965. (Tickets were $5,.5 each!). When John Lennon was shot in 1980, I went to my parents home in NYC, and together all of us participated in the ten minutes of silence in Central Park. My Dad passed away nine years later, and anytime I hear about The Beatles, my Dad comes back to life! Thank you for this! ❤

I'm a genuine Boomer, I was 17 when the Beatles first single was released and it was the Beatles that led me to a 5 decade journey of playing (and listening) to music. I was in 7th grade when The Beatles took the world by storm and I've been a devoted fan ever since. I'm sure that if John had lived that the lads would have come together in some form or fashion for a couple of songs or shows, but there's no guarantee that their new music would have been as beautiful as this one. I was thrilled to wait for the release of "Now and then", probably the last song The Beatles worked on, but it came out too flat, their voices and their harmonies are somewhat tired.
