Glenn Close took home the Tony for her performance in Sunset Boulevard! I saw her in LA before the show opened on Broadway. At the curtain call when she came out (in character) the entire audience leaped to their feet and gave her an amazing standing O that went on and on. I knew that I had just seen one of the greatest performances of my life! This role requires a great actress who can also sing; few have met that challenge.

We went to see Sunset Boulevard at the Coliseum. 4th row seats. I think it was about 2016. Glenn Close was amazing. I went with my closest childhood friend Susan who isn’t here anymore. She was ecstatic to see this. We both we’re. A tremendous show. I’m one of the few who don’t mind paying the huge prices for tickets. This is a performance that will remain for many years, so lavish and that comes at a price. Happy memories.

I also don't mind paying ridiculous money for the tickets (which I really can't afford), because yes, sometimes these magic moments of pure, true theatre are worth of every cent we pay and much much more. I've chosen to pay more for the lasting experiences than the lasting things. It's much more regarding to have them.
