How have I have only just seen this now after all these years? The way she adapted the singing of the words "I've come home at last....." to really emphasise "home" just makes it all the more emotional. I wish I'd been lucky enough to see Elaine perform this during this production.

That controlled descent at the end of "HOOOOOOooooomeee" is sooo impressive

This song could easily fit into Follies, especially the way Elaine Paige tastefully drains it to the last drop. What a voice, the way she stretches out the notes for maximum emotion.

Glenn close should’ve never been cast as Norma yes she had the acting ability for the part. But she couldn’t sing for shit

Ну такое. Иногда мне казалось, что голос управляет ею, а не она им. Типа вибрато у неё очень драматичное, и в любом подходящем месте оно вылезает. С Бетти Бакли не сравнить)

I love miss paige. A fab Norman. But personally I always felt that she looked like she was walking through treacle. Just an observation in an otherwise fabulous performance ❤❤ Please no hate. Just opinions xx
