Could you say Market failure can affect the unemployment rate as it can lessen the allocation of resources towards certain markets due to it sending signals to market forces to not allocate as many resources to certain markets?

+squidman97 Plants in forests cleanse atmosphere by alleviating global warming --> recently, more land in the Amazon Basin (if I may use an example) is logged off for soybean and cattle production --> this means rising marginal social cost for local Brazilians rises as air quality falls --> this marginal social cost( air quality not only falls for most of the locals, as methane is also released into the atmosphere when trees are logged) exceeds the marginal social benefit garnered by sale of beef and soy (as it primarily benefits a few farmers and landowners) . --> Was this helpful?
