"Let's not jump to concussions" Been saying that my entire life and, honest to God, had forgotten where it came from. The cartoons we watched growing up mid 20th century were absolutely the greatest ever drawn. My stay at home mom would always quote Katnip's "That sounds logical" as benign gentle sarcasm. (I did remember she got it from one of the several cartoon cats just not which one until googling the phrase.}. Katnip was her favorite of all cartoon cats.

@@marymonsterandcreatormary3783 Ever tried a light snort of black pepper - just enough to induce a sneeze? It always worked for me. Discovered the sneeze cure by accident decades ago. Inducing sneeze with pepper was an innovation after the discovery. I suppose subjecting yourself to anything you are allergic to would work just as well so long as it makes you sneeze.

I like Buzzy and his design is excellent. It is a shame his cartoons never really caught on and got locked into a formula. I guess Sylvester and Tweety did too, but somehow they worked a lot better than Buzzy and Katnip.
