Asafa I also agree that some Jamaicans should let St. Lucia have their moment. I got cursed out online by a fellow Jamaican for saying this. My reason is due to the fact that some St. Lucians online were upset that we were trying to claim Alfred and as a proud Jamaican we do not need to lower ourselves to this level of disrespect. I am happy for her and the Caribbean as a whole but we also have our own Athletes to celebrate. She did acknowledge Jamaica and Usain Bolt when responding to a questions about Jamaica by a Jamaican Journalist they were leading questions by the way.

Agree, let St.Lucia have it's moment! It's not like they have many of them! Another wholesome thing I noticed - Gabby Thomas finally won the 200m but gave credit to her sprinting genes from her grandfather who was Jamaican :) Not often one hears that from an American :)

Imho, the best that could happen to Kishane was to lose the final. Imagine how hungry the young man will be the next 4-8-12 years time? Had Kishane just won it the first time, I doubt he would have had the hunger to become great longterm and might struggle with motivation. This is sad for him in the moment but awesome for the sport longterm! He will CRUSH the next races.

@@mariastewart8810 It's a tie. The gold shud be shared. With that long wait, music playing loudly must distract the athletes. Kishane was warned for nothing he had done, while Noah jumping like a jackass, carrying on also to mess up the other athletes focus and not being warned for that, obviously is an outright bias. All this was planned in his favour. The result to give Noah the gold alone is GREATLY UNFAIR. THAT IS HOW THE USA IS. RIGGED. BLATANTLY UNFAIR...🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲. Asafa u were competing for a long time. @@prudencehill4114 The photo finish shows Noah's chest hitting the line first. Not hard to see. Ato even explained for people who don't know. This isn't the 2022 World Indoors Finals for 60m when Jacobs vs. Coleman photo finish could've gone either way. Come on. If you know track you know who won from the photo. I'm Jamaican too, born in the UK, grew up in the US. Kishane didn't dip at the line well enough that's all. Great race anyway. Just erase that part of your comment because it's not true. Lose gracefully. I didn't see the full start/intro of the race so I can't speak on warnings.
