People in the USA just want to see great running from anybody in the universe. Americans are fascinated by Bolt, want to see legit competition for Sydney, etc. We are similarly fascinated by Chinese divers. Like diving, track is not a popular sport here. 99% of Americans do not even know who these athletes are. The few American fans are just happy to see any athlete improve the sport. Unfortunately, Tebogo’s early celebration shows no originality. It’s the same old showboating that he criticized in the Olympics. It feels like I am watching amateur high school track. Why do I feel like Tebogo is holding back something? Is he waiting for the right tym? After all he is only 21yrs. If he stays injury free, Bolt should b worried of his records.
