Yatchy always like this. Go watch literally any other episode lol. He teases and throws light jabs at the artist/guest to make em' feel more comfortable or bring em' down to a more human level. Same way your friends may do sometimes. Most artists hear podcast/interview and go in with a media-training mind set or with a big ass ego. It works well to get them to feel like "Oh, we just friends talking right now" instead of seeing it as they up in The Breakfast Club with Charlamange having to watch every word they say.

That's bc Kai's achievements won't allow for Joe's unrelenting criticism. He is forced to recognize Kai's impact, but he will take every single opportunity to find an issue with Kai too. Joe cemented himself as one of the OGs who prefer to hate on many of the young people rather prop them up and/offer constructive criticism

Yatchy is trying to be cheeky but Joe is a master at this, he wasn’t gonna win that battle. It’s like the young boy versus the old head on the basketball court, too experienced, knows all the tricks and counters. That’s not the same Joe he encountered in the first interview. Joe knows the X’s and O’s… my other thing is why invite him if this your temperature though? Thing is Joe is the type of person to accept the invite on purpose just to play the game.

3:58 Yatchy looking at Joe’s crash out on him from the wrong place. It wasn’t like Joe was saying his music was trash his frustration was I’m from the era where we all got bad deals and burned bridges to expose these bad deals to the next generations so for that next generation to then say “I don’t know the specifics of my deal” Is understandably frustrating for the OGs
