Sounds like you're talkin' about Hideo Kojima haha

This song lured me into a discography of the most captivating japanese artist to me. I found this song from the Ghost Hound opening because I found a lot of anime I liked purely based on the opening theme in middle school, but I ended up not liking Ghost Hound anyway :(. Afterwards I got as many songs as I could of Kojima, and I was turned away by most of the songs because they were so quirky and strange. Some of her songs were jazzy and poppy though, and they showed off her voice in a way that I believe is the best singing voice for me personally. I dont know what's so likeable about jazz and the style of her music, and I believe her music is a gateway drug to jazz. Moreover, it made me search for music that made me feel amazing more than ever. I quickly warmed up to her quirky songs, and now I cherish them more. So if you are coming here because this song is awesome, that's because an awesome singer with an awesome band is making the music. Please check out her other songs!

@@Burgsly Wow I do actually know ego-wrappin, but hadn't heard that release. It's fantastic, thanks for the rec. And to return a Japanese jazz pop rec back to you, you should check out Original Love if you haven't. Fantastically talented guy from Pizzicato 5 with a wonderful discography. Especially check out Lovelove&love.

All those cyrillic *_Я, Ц, Ч, Л_* were so confusing! Russian is my first language, and I was reading *_Я, Ц, Ч, Л_* as *_"YA", "TS", "CH" and "L"_* automatically at first : )

bebop as in a genre of jazz? or like the anime cowboy bebop, but then again, the anime has a very jazzy soundtrack so is it named after the genre of jazz called bebop
