I completely disagree with that Baddo is a legend, Don Jazzy is a legend ad others because they have literally leave a impact on Nigerian music industry so as Burna boy, Davido and Wizkid so yes you can also call them a legend they have leave their footprints in the Nigeria music industry and Africa as a whole. These artists are legendary, having made history and or becoming history in the making which Asake is becoming. He's also leaving his footprints in Nigerian and African Music industry because when you think of amapiano and Afrobeats, and layering of vocals, often referred to as 'crowd vocals' you think of Asake. A legend in man country would not be a legend in another man country. For example BTS, Big Bang and Girls Generation are legends in the Kpop industry but may not be legends in the American industry. And also Tupac was not considered a legend til he died, when he was alive he received lots of hates from lots of people. I fully believe that in order for an artist to be a legend in the music industry they have to have made a difference, whether that be in their music genre, their communities/countries, in the public, or anywhere really. Those Nigerian artists I mentioned; Baddo, Don Jazzy, Wizkid, Davido, etc., are legends because they have made a difference in the Nigerian and African Music industry. In my opinion, it’s subjective to the fan(s). There’s no definitive measure of what makes someone, particularly an artist, a “legend”. If they are generally popular and has strong reach and impact in their genre, then I wouldn’t argue against a fan or anyone calling an artist they love a legend. I understand where you are coming from, but I also disagree with you, respectful especially when you say there's anyone qualified yet to be called a legend like what!
