I like the fact that she didn't directly portray exorcism. Everybody is saying that they expected something towards that line, but I like that she didn't do what everyone expected. Also she doesn't have to actually play out exorcism they way you are used to, we have authority in the words of our mouth and she kept saying what she wanted throughout the song (ie for satan to be gone) Also, she doesn't have to change her dress to a white one at the end to show that satan is actually gone because once you believe it is done, it is done! The video was quite creepy I must say, but I think she was just setting the mood. I love your music Asa and I love that you are different not necessarily because you want to be different, but because you are naturally different and you learnt to embrace your uniqueness.

The earlier we Africans start coming to the reality that we have a lot for the western world to come tour on, thereby attracting more sources of income to our country(ies), directly or indirectly, then the better for us. It's high time the western world started knowing and accepting us for who we are and the good virtues we are capable of pouring into our societies, and not we ourselves trying hard to be like, or (should I say) please them, going over to their own countries to go pour in our hard-earned income. It should be both ways and not jut one way (from Africa to the Western world); and I'm glad most Africans (the likes of Asa) are beginning to realize that. That's why I like the originality I see in Asa. She doesn't care what her audience is made up of, she is Nigerian anyways, anywhere, and always. Overall, I think Asa knows her worth and knows what kind of invites to take and what to do with each of them. Whoever picked that girl and gave her voice a chance to be heard, via good marketing, I pray God blesses that person; and that God would also help Asa in her career (and life in general), to stay without spots as she is already. I like that she has her way of showing regard to God with some of her songs too (like the one about the "Preacher" and "Mr. Jailer." My only little addition is that I'll be happy to see her find a way to make some of her messages more discreet in a way that people who don't understand arts that much would also know exactly what her point is (for instance, the track "Satan be gone"); and maybe I'm even one of those people who are naive in the world of arts, aha.. . Overall, the girl is awesome and I wish her the best in life. And everyone else too, haha.. :) Take care my people! :)
