the trick to attrition orbs is that it doesn't need to be the same target being hit so its effectively just constant free orbs while using your weapon.

@@thejusmar couple things: a). using both gets you more orbs, obviously. consider the upcoming stareater nerf, getting 6 orbs is nothing to multimach. b). sometimes you cannot afford a slot for siphons. in pantheon for example the meta is heavy ammo finder/scout/radiant light to guarantee everyone is charged for dps and has ammo. c). the higher level content you go the harder it is to get consistent multi-kills with a legendary primary, attrition orbs is unaffected by this though because it only cares about hits.

Just came back from a D2 break so i've been grinding the random drops from onslaught. How ever I don't think any roll can take my Rose out of my hands. Hammer, Accurized rounds, Perp motion, Eye, and smooth grip with a range master work. I enhanced it and have not looked back.

My personal favorite so far is firefly and kinetic tremors, firefly deals with the ads very well because of the ad density on onslaught, and then like you said with kinetic tremors you're ready to for tankier enemies as well, there's never an instance when you aren't going to be using at least one of the perks, and it feels amazing

Great video nomad! Thank one thing to note during the comparison section towards the end. You forgot to give the austringer its enhanced perks and intrinsic. This ends up giving it another 12 stability with the perks you have selected and 2 more in handling and reload.

I adore fatebringer. And I worked my ass off to get my time lost with the choice of frenzy or Firefly. So for me, I want midnight coup to do things fatebringer can't. The best role I've kept so far is one for all /explosive payload, which is less to replace Fatebringer in more to try and replace my favorite gun in all of destiny, outlaw/rampage Duke 44 (Rex quandom rexque futurus) Now I'm hunting that roll with a reload masterwork and magazine. It's so easy to proc one for all with explosive rounds and the damage is pretty nuts.

I first got the coup in forsaken...but at the time i exclusively used a 120 Duke with kill Clip and rapid hit. I never understood why id use Coup over my Duke, until i started swapping to it for shorter range, more add heavy encounters. You are right on the money - Midnight Coup is built different, and its absolutely a different playstyle then most other hand cannons. It always feels laking in range, but you havw to lean into its short range strengths for PvE.

I finally got the KT and Firefly roll and I am in fucking love with this HC. It’s my favorite gun in the game , period EDIT: and honestly if you’re fighting a yellow bar with ads around him it does amazing work. KT I’m pretty sure also staggers a bit as well which honestly makes this gun feel so fun and powerful. I rarely need to pull out my special during onslaught because of it

Something to consider in the future, enhanced zen moment will give an extra +5 stability when midnight coup is enhanceable so the stability will be a little better at base. Unsure if the enhanceable weapons will get the extra stats if they level to 20 like the adept raid weapons but regardless, midnight coup should be fine in the future.

attrition orbs is best on swords. If 1 player pops a well , the other a tether, and the other does the supercharged Thundercrash on a stationary boss, then all 3 players use attrition orbs swords… you will drop so many orbs that you’ll get your super back and possibly get another super before phase ends. Even if you don’t get a super back, you’ll constantly get armor charges that will buff your weapon damage if you’re running surges.

Grinding for an explosve payload and kinetic tremor has been the bane of my grind. I have gotten so many Midnight coups, and not one has drop that roll for me. Furthermore, attunement (majority of the time) just like screw me in the ass and give me something else different.

Side note, firefly + one for all or one for all/rampage tremors is god tire ad clear. Note about zen moment, imo it makes this gun feel like a lazer. Dont shard it with out at least seeing if you love the feel. Won’t regret it!

I managed to get a midnight coup with flared magwell and a reload masterwork bringing the reload stat from 56 to 81 which means I dont feel like I need any reload boost from firefly, outlaw, or a kinetic loader mod. great for people who want explosive payload or maybe attrition orbs on theirs

Im a Strand Titan main and let me just say the perk Desperate Measures plays beautifully with my builds. I use the 'Into the Fray' aspect and I cant remember the last time my melee was empty (Titans get 3 hits remember). Its so easy for me to keep Desperate Measures 3x proc'd consistently.

Kept Confidence is excellent. It's the most slept on HC in pvp. The models short size just makes it piss easy to land shots. Proc enhanced killing wind = battle continues on the next shot with 96-100 range, and even with full bore feels amazing.

I got explosive payload, desperate measures with smallbore flared magwell and range mw. Using it on stasis hunter with renewal grasps and it allows an extremely aggressive play style and it’s amazing so far! Firefly be my second choice if the reload wasn’t so good already. I’ll keep a firefly one for all roll though as that’s very strong

Midnight with; range master work/smallbore/acurised rounds/enlightend acction/opening shot with opening on got a 36 meter range, with it off 33, every hit you land makes the gun better thansk to enlightend action, this badboy can match any gun even rose, could go for moving for more pasive help but man does this thing motter

EP and Desperate Measures easily. Using a one 2 punch build with a energy Shotty guess what’s procing while stowed after that powered melee kill? Maybe your using sun bracers? How does 30% damage after a nade kill OR melee kill sound? I love that desperate measures essentially gives your kinetic weapons some small level of synergy with your subclasses that energy weapons have in spades. Explosive payload is just too good to pass up IMO free damage and doubling the effective range while also allowing for easier easier use while airborne in several builds. Best roll hands down IMO

The stat package is rough for PvP with that 40 range. For PvE, I just wish kinetics had more synergy with our builds. So many of my Titan builds rely on things like Solar or Strand weapons to proc things. But the gun feels so good to use. Feels like my other favorite adaptive- Dire Promise. Firefly + Desperate Measures has been nice.

I have lots of adept HCs with 80+ range. As long as you hit 67-70 range on this gun, you’re fine because this gun simply feels so much easier to use. There is in reality a very small range difference between them and the nuts aim assist and amazing sight on this gun more than make up

One for all with firefly is epic. That is THE PVE combo for this gun and nothing else comes close. Although, there are other good rolls, but you can keep one for all up pretty much at all times in onslaught with firefly without even trying.

@@nightox3 - honestly haven’t compared them on legend truly apples to apples. My bias may be that I’m running a solar subclass and so firefly synergizes better. I’m just relying on what I “feel” as keeping me safer or needing to put in less work. Truth be told, I’m. It typically running HC in content like this but I put my plentiful rolls through the paces when I got them and firefly seemed to work better.

Outlaw does grant a faster reload than firefly. It grants a x0.9 reload scalar on top of the stats benefit. Firefly only grants the stat benefit.

My favorite fatebringer roll I have is Explosive Payload/Frenzy. Explosive is just so good - extra damage, aim assist, and fall off. Combined with more damage that’s essentially free? I will definitely be farming for at least 5 Midnight Coup’s just because of the double damage perks!

Yea austringer and rose def clear it for pvp lol. Small bore, richochet, enhanced eos and opening shot you get 68 range and 80 stability on austringer plus that range bump on the first shot of opening shot and the handling bump on eye of the storm austringer kind of is a stat monster for a legendary hc not named palindrome or exalted truth. I love your take tho on it bringing personality and the feel

Osmosis Fatebringer with Firefly (or even Adrenaline Junkie or Frenzy) absolutely surpasses anything Midnight Coup has for buildcrafting. What Coup has is the ability to use kinetic tremors/shoot to loot against big targets, opening up your special for wave frame GLs that don't have auto loading. Everything else Coup has is on Fatebringer.

My Roll would have to be Explosive Payload, Kinetic Tremors. I do a ton of end game, and Explosive Payload on literally anything will make it punch alot harder, even Explosive head on a Bow for instance. Kinetic Tremors cause when it procs, it deals like 30k Damage... So dealing with things like unstops? No problem... I personally wouldn't build this into add clear, even for Grand Masters, as the majority of the time you'll be using an Exotic for that anyways.

Attrition orb to me is a sure way tk get an orb kf power in any activities, if you do 2 times a double kill, so 4 kills, you'll get 2 orbs, but with the perk you will probably get a 3rd one. On beefy target, you don't even need a kill. And thoses orbs on strand for woven mail or void for devour are very good. K love the perk and is a perk I search on alot of weapons

Desperate meassure is really easy to proc in basically all content to at least x2 and don't see how you wouldn't get it to 30% in most cases if you just try. It doesn't have to be a grenade and powered melee, you can just walk up to 2 red bar and normal melee them and now you have 20% and then use the gun for the last proc for a refreshable 30% damage. Only content that it could be annoying to proc would be GMs, but honestly there I almost never use primary weapons

The feel of the weapon really does matter aye. I have multiple god rolls on autos, hand canons, pulses etc but man I just can't vibe with some of them. Its like you just can't get into the rythm. I have a crafted austringer and a slideshot explosive rose and I feel better using the austringer for some reason. Just got a moving target zen roll on midnight, excited to try it out

I only kept 2 so far (outlaw-kinetic tremors, explosive rounds-zen moment) because they have good range (57+). All other drops had very low range and it was very noticeable. Hated those.
