4 жыл бұрын

Four years after the first instalment, Ascension 2 features Tom Coppola who spent 2 years planning, training, filming, and editing this project. Inspired by the rich history of urban climbing and buildering at the University of British Columbia dating back to the 1960's, Tom joins the UBC tradition to leave his mark on the urban landscape with his parkour influenced speed climbs and unique ascents.

Man the kite retriever got me. LOL. Two years back, I saw an old dude, probably 60 climbing a tree at stunning speed to do just that! Most people I know couldn´t climb that tree in their 20s! We went far down from what we used to be capable of and a few people remind us of what we´ve lost.

@Hyzic

You guys should read up on the definition as it stands for Parkour. It does include freerunning,vaulting,etc. Sometimes performing a particular flip, vault or "flashy" acrobatic, is the most efficient way from point a to b for the situation. Stop being elitist idiots about something so silly as terminology.
@Yotanido
@Yotanido 4 жыл бұрын
@@Hyzic Nobody said Parkour does not include flips. Parkour is getting efficiently from point A to point B. If a flip is the most efficient way, then that is parkour. Freerunning uses the techniques of parkour but is not concerned with moving efficiently from point to point - it's more about showing off and having fun. As such, you see far more flips in freerunning. Parkour and freerunning use similar techniques, but are different in how those techniques are used. This video is parkour, not freerunning.
