Quran says Allah is “Al-Ahad”(one/indivisible).Deductively, It is impossible for perfection to have parts. Not just the Quran(preserved), but also the old/new testament(not preserved) textually scream oneness of Allah. So, then why believe in trinity and associate two imaginary parts to Allah(one/indivisible/self-sufficient/all-loving)?How could your love/worship be undivided/exclusive only for Allah(the most Exalted) when there are two other equally unique/perfect entities? If three entities are distinct and co-equal/co-eternal, then How do you define “Trinity” as one/undivided (“Al Ahad”)?

When I hear you speak of your Sundays when you don't get to spend as much time in solitary prayer as you'd like, I think of my life as a first responder and how I recently struggled with my need to do more for a deceased person. I was counseled that God has gifted me with a certain, uncommon strength and mission to serve, that what I sacrifice of myself serves God's purpose and is of great value to the people I serve. To my eyes, all the service you do for parishioners is also a great service to God's purpose and a special kind of prayer that few men are capable of.

Fr. Mike, we all know the Christian life is NOT for the faint of heart. We know from the outset we won't do it perfectly. We trip up; fall a lot. But the faithful get up, just like Jesus did on the way to Golgotha, and get back to it until our mission on this earth is complete, just like He did. People like you, Fr. Mike, are the St. Veronicas in the crowd, helping us along the way at your own sacrifice. You don't sugar coat it: You tell it like it is, but with kindness and real caring, and that means more than words can say. So please, don't be discouraged by those who may misinterpret your enthusiasm and desire to lead us on the right path. I've no doubt the light will dawn on them, through the grace of the Holy Spirit and incession of the prayers that I, and I'm sure many others here, will be offering for them. Fr. Mike, I have to share that for a while I had to step away from watching your videos I love everything you share with us, but I found myself feeling sad and discouraged after listening to you. Although I go to daily mass and do make Jesus the center of my life, I felt like I could never be “good enough”. I clicked on this video with true fear of what I would feel afterwards but actually found myself in tears feeling more encouraged than ever. All I can say is thank you for posting this. Boy, oh boy, this was hard today!!!! My patience is thin, little white lies for no real reason, can't let go of past anger at family (just to name a few) are all things I should be able to correct. However, I keep doing the same over and over! I feel so inadequate, I feel that my prayers are not enough. When I make time to sit in church with Jesus I don't know what to say or how to say it. So instead of babbling...I just pray. I really don't know how to spend quiet time with Jesus. There's so much to say here but not enough time to say it. I wish there was a note that came in the mail from God each day. A report card of sorts. Explaining where I was good and where I need improvement. I realize there would be many red marks on my card, however, I would know and understand what to do different. I'm afraid of getting to the end of life and then it's to late to make corrections. Dear Lord Jesus help me!

Father Mike I love the story about you and your family being swimmers! I’m a swimmer and a fish in the water! On the night of my birthday last month, the Holy Spirit gave me a birthday card with a sea otter on it in a dream. He speaks to me in many ways and I love this! I used to be on the swim team on the Monterey Peninsula, and also spent many hours watching the sea otters. Very cold waters, which is exhilarating! I chose “The Fly” to master as my stroke of choice, because of the challenge. So, after this dream, I started writing a word called “the Head, the Breathe and the Body” based on swimming the Fly! I boast in my weaknesses because where I am weak, He is strong! The Lords Glory shines brightly through our weak vessels!

Although your busy schedules on Sunday deprive you of your quiet time with the Lord, your love for people must please the Lord a lot. Whether you realize it or not, I think as a good shepherd, you "pray" your prayers with your action. That inspires me that even if I am busy, I could try my best to practice the Presence of the Lord by inviting him into the details of my life. If you want to swim in Lake Superior, go to Wisconsin point, it's a sandy beach floor...not rocks. The Wisconsin Point (sandbar) is warm in late July and most of August. 🏊‍♂️

I`m sure I once read that a French chap had swam the North Atlantic Ocean where it`s width was +/- 3000 miles ( naturally, with a few breaks inbetween the water ). I`m also fairly sure that upon it`s completion / achievement he said that it had practically driven him to madness.
