All the additional prayers like the “oh my Jesus “ after every decade and the long beautiful Hail Holy Queen after the entire rosary I think makes it feel extra long. Sometimes I just want to pray the decades more simply or maybe I just need to love those prayers more.

The Fatima prayers aka oh my Jesus, doesn’t take that long either does the hail holy queen. However, it’s ok to just pray one decade and just pray it fully and contemplatively. I’ve heard Father Mark Mary say you can space out all 5 decades throughout the day if one doesn’t have the time to pray all 5 at once

@@EJ-gx9hl Thanks , my ocd will flare up if I don’t say them. I personally feel they do take up more time but that’s not a bad thing in itself ofcourse because they are prayers , but sadly it is something that makes me do it less I think.

An honest opinion 😊 for fun, time yourself saying “the extra prayers”. Then when the thought pops up you can counter it with truth. And coach yourself, am I willing to add xx minutes to my prayer time? If not, say it without those if you need to. No judgement - God meets us where we are ❤

I am so so pumped to join on this! Are we having it on Hallow by chance? I have made rosaries and I need to fix one I made for my dad and I think this will help me get it right.
