Yeah it reminiscent of older candy cabs like the Jaleco Pony Mk.II, or Sega City cabs. Clean and simple and definitely from the 80's.

I've been using it a lot and as is its fantastic no modification necessary. And superior to the original pad which makes it a success.

Thanks for this review dude! Got one of these last year and have been wondering how to adapt it to my US consoles. I'm wondering if yours was modded though. The only ones I've seen have had flat A and B buttons, not concave. Perhaps there was more than one revision of this stick. But those concave buttons look awesome so I'd keep them if I had them.

Nice deal on that one! I know, because I nearly hit the buy it now button on this very exact stick, haha. Wish I had, but if I didn't get it glad you did my friend. How does it feel overall after having taken it for a test run? It looks and sounds really nice in terms of the stick. I've been on the hunt for the famicom adapter for the capcom cps changer/snes/sfc joystick I've got, but I might get around to picking one of these ascii sticks up too in the future as I've been really getting back into playing Famicom games lately. Awesome work on that adapter too!

Does the stick itself have a restrictor plate? If it does, what shape? I know it's personal preference, but I really hate square gates. I need either a round or octagonal gate.

Looks and sounds legit. Nice! The super advantage for the snes is not cutting it for me, at all. Any suggestions?

The Super advantage definitely stinks, the problem with most sticks for the Super are their button layouts... Most make no sense. The best ones I can think of are the Capcom stick that CRTcade has or an import Hori stick and try and hack the button layout on it to make it normal. I don't know what happened, but when the peripheral makers dealt with anything with more than two buttons they messed themselves up.
