I have to say... As a middle easterner, I have nothing against the people who thrive and flourish in western society but your governments, acting as the guards of the world, of 'democracy' have used and cast us aside. When we are of no benefit they turn their backs, just as the world first rejected the holocaust. When Washington was notified, they turned a blind eye. Man is capable of many great things, even the holocaust, as terrible as it was, was of a great scale. Great in another sense. War isnt just natural selection played out on a grand scale. Anyway... I wish you all the best of luck in life

You are lucky that I made a choice to cast aside violent behavior and reactions in life or I would be tempted to do so myself. @@АрылханАммосов-е3п In Israel too. More information is being leaked about the brutal treatment of Palestinians in their jails. The other day Israel's channel 12 showed video evidence of the IDF sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee. B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights group, recently compiled a report detailing the systematic mistreatment and torture of Palestinians in the prison system including overcrowding, denial of sunlight, starvation rations, denial of medical care and a range of physical abuse. Torture camps would be an accurate description of these facilities. Needless to say this gets very little attention in Western media.

A small note. At 1:30-1:31, it states "In 1938, Hitler unleashed Kristallnacht..." Actually, Hitler did not order Kristallnacht. In fact, he was furious it took place. Why? Because his goal was not simply to eliminate the Jews but get all of Germany to despise them and openly want to be rid of the Jews. Hitler was furious because the brazen, lawless, public violence of Kristallnacht made some sections of the public sympathetic to the Jews for the way they were treated. It's one thing to see and read something in the paper. It's a whole different beast to watch it happen in person. Hitler wanted to take the "Out of sight, out of mind" approach.

Really? Let me guess: Hitler didn't know about the Holocaust either. Do you know, what stupidity you've said? Hitler often gave contradictional orders in this matter in order to confuse the German society. After all, if you are confused, you won't look after the details.

@@jasonbrody1540 In sabatons history video about this subject, they said this. I suggest you watch it, but it is true. Hitler was furious because he wanted the public to revile them, and having a lawless mob beat up Jews subverted Hitler's authority. But yes, he was also furious because it increased public support and sympathy for the Jews, of which he was also mad for. Hitler very badly wanted to cruelly kill millions of German civilians because of pseudo-scientific reasons, he just had to wait until it was state sanctioned. It eventually was.

This song brings a tear to my eye, every time I hear it. It's an amazing song, that tells of the darkest moment of World history, and makes you, not agree, but maybe understand a little of the reasons why this happened. Why and what pushed an entire nation over the edge, and became one of the biggest symbols of cruelty and inhumane behaviour, the World has ever seen. (yes yes I know Gulags in Russia was bad and just as a bad death sentence, but still) Sabaton are truly one of the greatest bands of all time, in my opinion. To be able to create songs like this, that through historical lyrics and great music, can make you feel like you are in that historical moment.

You see all this propaganda t says Hitler only like white people. he had friends and admired people from many races. did hate the jews tho. 6 million is nothing compared to 75 million give or take. A lot of people are starting to understand what was going on behind the scenes during that time and have more context. instead of Hitler bad jews good. Why don't you read what JFK wrote about Hitler when he was in Germany. it's pretty much happening.

@@mikefontaine9539 Ohh it's you again. Don't worry, I know a great deal about everything that led to what happened. Simple History has a pretty good overall summery, while Indy's Great War documentary is in more detail. Let's say the things didn't play out the way they did, and communism had spread, it would probably still have been a war between England with USA vs Russia vs Japan. And as unlikely as it may sound, Japan would probably have allied with the US, as they might have hated them, but they feared and extremely hated the Russians. And it would be way easier striking a deal with the US, after they had won the war against Russia, about the Pacific and South East Asia.

"As soon as fear, hatred, jealousy and power worship are involved, the sense of reality becomes unhinged. And, as I have pointed out already, the sense of right and wrong becomes unhinged also. There is no crime, absolutely none, that cannot be condoned when "our" side commits it. Even if one does not deny that the crime has happened, even if one knows that it is exactly the same crime as one has condemned in some other case, even if one admits in an intellectual sense that it is unjustified -- still one cannot feel that it is wrong. Loyalty is involved, and so pity ceases to function."- George Orwell, Notes on Nationalism

I dont know from which country you come from. But I am from Germany and i can tell you that at school, we havent learned much about Stalingrad and D-Day (of course, it was mentioned, but we didnt get into the details). However, talking about Holocaust was a way more important issue. To be precise, we only spend about 2-3 hours on the exact events of the war, but in contrast nearly half a year on how Hitler came to power, what he did in the concentration camps and so on. And actually I'm glad about this, becauses I think that is exactly what we have to learn. We can never let something like this happen again, which is why we have to learn how to prevent it.

The full lyrics are: Country in depression, Nation in despair; One man seeking reasons everywhere! Growing hate and anger; The Führer’s orders were precise! Who was to be blamed and pay the price? Wicked propaganda, Turning neighbors into foes; Soldiers of the Third Reich searching homes! And then their former friends are watching As they are round up one by one! Times of persecution’s just begun! Ever since it started on Kristallnacht ‘38; When liberty died, and truth was denied! Sent away on trains, sent on a one-way trip to hell! Enter the gates, Auschwitz awaits! When freedom burns, the final solution! Dreams fade away, and all hope turns to dust! When millions burn, the curtain has fallen! Lost to the world as they perish in flames! There was a country in depression, There was a nation in despair; One man finding reasons everywhere! Then there was rising hate and anger; The Führer’s orders still apply! Who was to be blamed and sent to die? Ever since it started on Kristallnacht ‘38; When liberty died, and truth was denied! Sent away on trains, sent on a one-way trip to hell! Enter the gates, Auschwitz awaits! When freedom burns, the final solution! Dreams fade away, and all hope turns to dust! When millions burn, the curtain has fallen! Lost to the world as they perish in flames! When freedom burns, the final solution! Dreams fade away, and all hope turns to dust! The argument of „just following orders” has already been used by countless convicted war criminals, not just ones of the former Nazi regime. It was so bad to the point where the legal plea has even got a nickname, the „Nuremberg Defense”, based on its usage by the Nazi war criminals during the Nuremberg Trials. Not gonna lie, if he was me, I’d rather have my life fucking taken from me than having to give in to that sadistic butchery. Yes, it was that serious. It wasn’t just a few people, it was millions. There was lot of people who caused pain and suffer in that times, it's awful when you know that some if not most of them managed to avoid vengeance from hand of those whom they hurt.

Many nations took Polish immigrants including Africa during the war taking pity on them . But today they drive out and close the gates to people suffering the same plight they suffered decades ago. Why? When will humans learn the meaning of humanity and charity

@@JohnDoe19991 Have you noticed how many refugees Poland has received? Almost 4 million in Ukraine. Ukraine - a nation that has never apologized for the slaughter of Wolyn 1943-1947. Ukrainians murdered Poles, Russians, Slovaks and Hungarians in 365 ways. And yet Poles welcomed Ukrainians not only to Poland, but most of all to private homes. Not refugee camps, but for homes. No nation has done it, so do not write to me about the heartlessness of Poles. Also distinguish between refugees before the war and a labor migrant.

@Levi Hoffman White countries of Africa? No polish wanted to live among blacks ? I smell racism and bigotry . The main wave of Polish refugees sailed away from Iran to Africa. In July 1942 government in London, in consultation with the governors of then Tanganyika, Kenya, Uganda and Nyasa, agreed to settle there Polish refugees for the time of the war.

Unfortunately, people forgot the steps who led to Holocaust: A totalitarian government who disregard basic human rights, nazi pass, legal discrimination against certain groups of people.. and we see the same once again. Because i don t have the f*cking jab and I don't want to get it, I cannot go to a theater, to cinema, to a restaurant, to freely travel etc.. soon, I will not be allowed to work or even to go to buy a bread... The last step will be, probably, to take us, unjabbed people, from our homes and put us in concentration camps...
